It easily smashed the machine that is about to attack them with mace.

But how did he appear here to where he was now? 

flashback (2 days ago)

It all goes back to when after the battle in the ocean, with Y/n carrying A1's dead body going towards the shelter of his allies. They call themselves the Resistance.

Y/n was wishing to be part of it but not until he finds out what he's looking for.

Y/n: So, this is where the black box's energy is taking me.

Then he walks in casually like he doesn't even care as everyone in this camp is muttering about what he is carrying.

The leader, Rose, asked him.

Rose: Hey, Y/n. What's that you're carrying?

Y/n is still remembering her death with his eyes as his eyes are dark and not even answering her question but giving her a simple sentence.

Y/n: A corpse of a new Android, wanting a proper burial by my hands.

Y/n then moves forward as he can feel the black box's energy getting stronger. They noticed the black box and were thinking about what it was. However their thoughts turn into a troubled look as they see the direction of where he's going.

Lily asked Rose, who was troubled when she saw the look on his face.

Lily: Captain Rose... What happened to him? Why is he going there? We both know it's too dangerous.

Rose: Lily, everyone... I think it's about time I tell you all the story about how I found him.

Meanwhile, Y/n was digging a hole using his shovel as Rose explained his story.

Rose: I actually found him in that place, 2 years ago. He was cryofreeze inside a pod but when we got him out, he has amnesia. He doesn't know who he is or where he was born. So he decided to join with us until he can find out who he is... But also, there was something else inside that place.

Y/n then picks up the body of A1 who is covered in a white clothing, he tied her up on a rope attached to a pulley to bury her properly. Rose continues her storytelling to them.

Anemone: A giant humanoid but rusty machine.

Four: A machine?!

Rose: Hold on! It's unlike anything I have ever seen in that machine.

Y/n slowly lowered her to the hole. After that, he put back the dirt that he dug out to put it back in the hole.

Rose: It has controls, like a cockpit. I tried to check everywhere and saw a box. I opened it up and saw these different weapons like a katana, and two maces. But what stands out the most is the computer data I saw, talking about that machine.

Y/n then carries the tombstones made by himself. His creation of a tombstone for her caused his body to have dirt marks, scratches and bruises.

Rose: It was named Gundam Barbatos based on the systems there. I could only guess that it was the name of that machine and its designated pilot is Y/n.

Anemone: So you meant to say that, he's the pilot of this... Gundam?

Rose: Yes. The only way to activate it is to attach a cube item on the backseat.

Then everyone else started to connect the dots.

Rose: I think we're crazy to think about it but... I guess it's true.
