THIRD PERSON POV:

Mike runs over to Lucas, beaming brightly. "You won the game!" He exclaims, throwing his arms around his friend.

Dustin frowns, clutching the binder closer to his chest. He had been planning the campaign set for tonight for weeks, and Mike forgot it to go to a stupid basketball game? Dustin paused. Well, it is Lucas's game, but still..

He watches as the two continue conversing, until Will enters the room, which makes Mike even more animated. Dustin doesn't even stop himself from rolling his eyes. If they were going to be oblivious, he was going to let them stay oblivious.

After a long moment of watching his friends, he strained out a smile and walked to the locker rooms, where he sadly turned the pages in the book.

He doesn't notice the corrupted butterfly until it lands on his book, and by then it was too late.

Dustin gasps when he hears a voice in his head. So your friends don't want to play with you? I'll make a deal that forces them too. The woman says. Just follow my instructions.

Purple and black goo covers Dustin and transforms him into a villain, smirking.

He snaps the rusted looking book in his hands closed, placing his other hand on the cover. "Time for payback, traitors," He hisses.

The purple and black goo spread to the ground, quickly enveloping the entire school.

People start screaming as the building shifts to a dark castle, no doors in or out. Will stumbles to the side, grabbing the handrail to steady himself.

He looks up with an annoyed expression. "Guys! Find a way out! I'm going to see if I can call the police!" He shouts at his friends over the sound of a million students screaming and rocks rumbling.

"Wait, Will!" Mike shouts after him, eyes nervous. "It's too dangerous!"

"He knows what he's doing," Luas says, grabbing Mike's arm before the boy runs off. "Now we need to do our part, let's go find an exit."

Mike looked torn, but reluctantly nodded. "Who do you think the villain is?"

"Me."

The two boys turned around, gasping when they saw Dustin floating in the air above them.

"Dustin!?" Lucas exclaims in confusion, stumbling back.

The villain smirks. "I'm not Dustin anymore!" He shouts, opening up his book. "My name is Dungeon Master! And you will be my subordinates!" He flips through the pages, scanning.

"Dustin, wait, whatever we did, we can make it up to you!" Mike says, taking a few steps back in caution.

"It's too late for that!" Dungeon Master shouts angrily. "Knight, Ranger, I call you to my side!"

Two beams of purple light shoot out from Dungeon Master's book, hitting both Lucas and Mike in the chest. The two boy's eyes glow purple as well, going still. Purple goo starts covering them just as Tenfold jumps into the scene.

"What did you do to them?!" Tenfold exclaims as his two friends are covered. He stares in horror as they transform into what looks like a literal knight and ranger, but their faces are covered with cloth for Lucas and a knight's helmet for Mike.

"Ah, Tenfold, so nice of you to join us!" Dungeon Master says smugly. "Don't worry, they're safe."

Tenfold grit his teeth. "No they're not! Release them!" He shouts.
