Leo walked along the coast of Washington, he never liked the beach but it gave him some peace of mind, he left Laura yesterday. It was a tearful goodbye but he had to move on, he had his black backpack on this back and the backpack full of food in his hand. He had his tool belt around his waist and the necklace Darcy gave him around his neck.
He got tired from the walking and decided to sit down on the sand. He ate some or the fruit salad that Laura had packed for him.
After he was done eating, he sat there for a moment and began creating a small remote control helicopter.

PERCY POV:
Annabeth and Percy decided to go to Washington DC for a date, it was Percys idea since he loved the beaches there and Annabeth loved the architecture. If was also a good way to get Leo off their minds.
"Let's go to the beach, I wanna swim, wise girl!" Suggested Percy and Annabeth gave a chuckle and Percy took her hand and ran to the beach.
"Seweed brain! I'm going to trip if we keep running!" Laughed Annabeth, Percy shrugged but she was proven right when the two fell on the sand. Laughing like maniacs.
"Told you so" said Annabeth, sitting up next to Percy, as he kissed her.
Unfortunately this was interrupted by a small toy helicopter crashing into them.
"Sorry! My mistake" said the voice of a boy with a backpack on his back and one in his hand.
"Oh no problem" Annabeth said as she and Percy stood up, Percy picked up the helicopter and turned to give the helicopter back, however when he did his face froze.
"L- Leo" blurted Percy, Leo's eyes turned wide eyed.
The boy, who they assumed was Leo turned to run but Annabeth grabbed his arm. He tried to pull away but Annabeth grabbed his arm with both hands.
Percy and Annabeth shared a look and Percy ran away to Iris-message the camp.

LEO POV:
OH NO OH NO OH NO OH NO OH NO OH NO OH NO OH NO OH NO OH NO OH NO was all that Leo thought as he tried to pull away from Annabeth, who held him there in silence.
He has dropped his backpack from Laura and tried to run but not unsurprisingly Annabeth was strong.
"The others are on their way, they are flying by Pegasus so it should only take an hour." Explained Percy, and Leo was careful not to meet either of their eyes.
Leo tried to make a small fire in his hands to scare Annabeth away but he really didn't want to hurt her so instead he just decided to threaten her.
"I don't want to hurt you but I'm gonna have to if you don't let me go." Leo said, looking at his feet.
"You're not going to hurt me Leo" said Annabeth confidentlt, catching Leos bluff but Leo had a not-well-thought-out-plan and stepped on Annabeths foot.
It made her wince for a second, her grip lessened, giving him the chance to run however percy grabbed his other arm and when Annabeth came back to reality, Annabeth gripped his other arm again.
"Worth a shot" he muttered and they stood there like this for an hour, while Leo just tried to get away...
