Oh my god. We hit 100 parts. From everyone in the TMP crew, I want to thank you all so much for the support. This is nuts.
To celebrate, I've planned a few little surprises.1. Cringy moments from the og version of the It's a Trivia Murder Party story, aka Scaremin. It's a hot mess and I'm excited to embarrass myself.
Fun fact- it was, in fact, Eryn who originally was the van crasher. Obviously now that's been moved to Howdya Do, the sequel, and Marcus is responsible. But just so you know, he basically got everyone killed in the og.
Quick moment of silence for this that my friend left on the document:
Okay so Tyler was the OG unbearable character of the story. I wrote him out of pure hatred. Obviously he's much better in the revised version and Nathan's the jerk.
Yeah, they were buddy-buddy in this version. Until halfway through. Then for some reason they hate each other.
*dies of cringe*
2. Okay, now that that's out of the way, I'm announcing the official TMPswap story! (Obviously if you'd rather have seen different swaps than the current lineup, feel free to write your own) But I'm making it into a real story! Everyone's getting completely customized backstories and everything!
3. A look into how IATMP happened. Aka why everyone was given detention in the first place.
(Because like half of the group is gay we're going in rainbow order):
Tyler- Got into a fight in the hallway with another football player. When the teacher yelled at them, he was caught off guard momentarily and then punched in the eye, hence the bandage.
Cody- Snacking during class.
Eryn- Obvious reasons
Gabriella- Skipping class with Sasha
Nathan- Buying forbidden Fun Dip. He bribed the principal to lower the punishment to detention.
Sasha- Skipping class with Gabriella
Maddie- Hiding in the bathroom stall because Gabriella and Sasha were standing right outside by the sinks.
Kat- Sleeping during class.4. A look into the IATMP screenplay- a completely redone scene (Nathan's Demise).
I decided that it would be much more interesting and horrifying if I changed the final round. In this, [REDACTED] brings Nathan into a dim room full of dusty mirrors on the walls. Just like the final round in the story, Nathan has to answer the questions. But the ghosts, using the dusty mirrors, get to write their answers too. However, they're invisible, and there's no life force swapping. So all this scene contains is Nathan panickedly scribbling down answers as the words and whatever appear on the mirrors around him. It's scary and intense. When it's finally over, Nathan has no idea what's about to happen. [REDACTED] begins checking everyone's answers. The camera cuts to a mirror with the most correct answers. [REDACTED] slowly turns towards Nathan. At this point, Nathan knows exactly what's about to go down, and this is the most scared he's been the entire time. He's begging for his life, trying to worm his way out of it. But [REDACTED] pulls the Greed doll out of his pocket and begins to rip out all of the stuffing.
(TW: DESCRIPTION OF DEATH)
Nathan begins to cough up/choke on his own blood. He dies a slow and painful death (as he should). Now holding the stuffing, [REDACTED] returns to the room where Eryn's dead body is and uses Nathan's doll's stuffing to refill Eryn's doll. He's still injured but he wakes up and gets the a-okay to leave.Again, thank you all so much for the big 100, and I'll be posting the next few answers to questions shortly!
