Oof, good questions!
1. Redacted isn't supposed to be a sympathetic unless you want him to be. All he's done is give his backstory, it's up to you whether or not you want to feel bad for him.
2. Ghosts are dead, so they can't really do much.
Red's resolution is to kill more or see a therapist. Donna's resolution is to make sure Red follows through with his resolution. And Eryn's is to, of course, get out of the mental ward.
