Oh Genta? Where would one even begin with him? He was a good guy, a bro through and through. But sometimes he could be a little too much, to say the least. Well, not he himself but his constant tantrums thrown around here and there. It had always been up to Itto to calm him down, no one else would do it after all. The others got their pants in a twist. If all else fails there is always the option to knock the guy out. Easy peasy, what’s so hard? Some call him the most rational, Itto just calls him a literal dynamite at this point. Dynamite Genta, a title well deserved.
And right now he has been proving it to the fullest. What happened? Well, long story short, the dude was looking forward to some special drink today but they’re all out. And Genta didn’t have any of it, or refused to. So for the next few minutes it was just him yelling at the shopkeeper.
What did the oni do? Not much, just watching at this very moment, wanting to see where this goes and if anyone else could handle the walking sack of explosives. Genta didn’t look like it with his weak build but he can kick serious butt one way or another. And he was not holding it back either, far from it. So it was only a matter of time, wasn’t it?
“Listen up, you advertised this drink and I ordered some! How can you be out of it already!?” He yelled. Honestly, the guy might just take any excuse to throw a temper tantrum. He may as well just feel like it.
“S… Sir… I already explained to you that—”
“Oh yeah, the shipment arrives tomorrow. You think I’ll wait that long!? It doesn’t say ‘until stock’s out’ on your posters or sign!”
“That—”
“Am I wrong!?”
“Sir please, you—”
Suddenly he picked up the guy by his sleeve, shoving him forward, across the counter of his own food stall, making him get face to face with Genta. “Listen up here. I’ve been working my ass off for the past week for this and now you’re telling me off! You know who you’re talking to bud? Because if you do, you find a solution, pronto!”
The shopkeeper shrieked, gulping even and seeming to be at the brink of falling into pieces, shivering in his own clothing. It was all too visible. “Eep! I… I– Sir! If you don’t get out then—”
“Oh, so we’re gonna do this the hard way now!? Fine! Bring it!”
It was getting out of hand. Of course it did. Just when Itto got to enjoy a drink of his own, getting to slurp on it while Genta was busy with his own order. Again, the guy’s not a bad dude at heart… He’s just got problems. Lots of problems. And by that the oni means these impulsive decisions. The guy couldn’t help it, could he?
But even then, that didn’t change the fact right now. Sure, a fight’s fun and all but that’s not what the Arataki Gang was all about. No reason to attack a local over something as silly as this. They ‘cause problems’ according to the Tenryu Commission or Inazuman guards… Or whatever other official there is. But inflicting harm like that? Nah, that didn’t fly. Itto has told Genta this several times, telling him that he needs to get his act together that much. But the guy always forgets in the heat of the moment, it was getting a bit painful.
Thus, after having slurped up the last drop of his own drink and tossing the empty bottle aside, somewhere on the streets he walked up right behind Genta slowly, not making a single noise before suddenly chopping the male right on his head. This caused the gang member to drop the shopkeeper while dropping on his own knees for a moment, the impact had been that powerful apparently.
“Ok bro, that’s enough. We gotta go.” The oni said as he picked up the guy and threw him over one of his shoulders like some sack of potatoes. This was much to that one’s surprise and dismay.
“What the— Boss!? I’m not done here!? You can’t be that stupid to see that!” He tried to protest, struggling yet not getting out of his boss’s grasp anytime soon.
“Listen buddy, I get it. That stuff’s gotta suck. Buuut the guy’s made his point. You gotta let it go y’know.”
“Wha— But—”
“Sorry ‘bout that. I’ll get him under control.” Itto just ignored Genta at that point. He had to learn that such behavior is not tolerated. Cause trouble, have fun, be a delinquent. But don’t beat the shit out of some innocent guy just doing his job.
The shopkeeper only stared at the scene in confusion for a moment, not believing his eyes yet nodded first before adding: “J… Just get him away. Please.”
“Haha, ya got that right! C’mon Gengen, we’ve got some onikabuto to catch!”
“Gengen!? Not you too Bo— Ey! Let me down! I said let me down dammit!”
But no such thing happened. Itto was just carrying the dynamite away before he could truly explode. That’s Genta for ya though, the walking bomb. One wrong word and he just throws so much at you. Being angry is his personality sometimes, it’s funny in its own right. Hard to believe that he’s just as upbeat as the others when the four boys are together, causing their usual mayhem. But that’s just how things are rolling around here!
