Winter's POV
Kim Min Jeong is the name that I got from my parents. It is actually pretty cute, but I actually prefer others to call me Winter since it suits my personality or my so-called aura.
I was studying in Busan before getting transferred here to Seoul. The reason? It's just because I beat up a person.
I was known as the quiet student in my class; nobody talked to me because I was a loner. I was cold to others; I just wanted to protect myself. A lot happened; that's why I'm like this, and it is the reason why I prefer them calling me Winter.
The person that I beat up was bullying me, but I didn't pay him attention since it was a waste of time. I was only pissed at the fact that he bullied my only friend, and that led me to beat the shit out of him. I got expelled and was forced to transfer here to Seoul. My parents decided it for me, saying I should consider it a new start in life where people don't know who I am here. I got into this big university because of my credentials. I was a valedictorian, and I am always the top one in my class.
"Winter, dear" I heard my mom called my name downstairs.
"Yes, mom?"
"You'll be late for your first day, hurry up." she said.
I forgot; it is my first day at this university. I was actually glad that this university let their students wear whatever clothes they wanted; it was their choice if they wanted to wear the uniform or just their own casual wear. No revealing clothes are allowed, as usual.
I wore my bag and ran downstairs as I kissed my mom on the cheek and bid them goodbye. I walked down the streets and got on the bus. It was only a 15-minute drive. I looked over the streets; they were really busy. People are walking so fast, I bet they're late for their work. I saw students running too; I bet they're late.
After 15 minutes, the bus stopped, and I went outside as I walked another 5 minutes on the way to the university. It was really big, and I'm glad that I got my scholarship here. Do you want to know about my course? It is actually pretty unknown to the world, but it is really important in the medical field.
Radiologic Technology
If you're not familiar with it, it's the people who do x-rays and stuff.
I went inside the building; I was not really familiar with it, and I glanced at my phone to check the time. It was 7:50. I only have 10 minutes left to find my damn room.
I felt a hand touch my shoulder out of instinct. I grabbed that arm and almost hurt her, which I didn't.
"W-woah, easy there."
"Who are you?" I said as I shoved her hand away from me.
"Chill!" the person chuckled. What's wrong with this idiot? "I saw your lanyard; it is for RT students, right?" she asked, and I nodded. I noticed we had the same lanyard; she must be my classmate. "We're classmates," she said. "I know where our room is; follow me."
She walked, and I walked beside her. "My name is Shin Ryu Jin, but you can call me Ryujin or whatever you want," she said.
"Kim Min Jeong, I prefer to be called Winter."
"You're lucky that you just transferred when we're still in the first semester, if not. You really missed a lot," she chuckled as we finally arrived in our room. We went inside, and eyes were on me. I always hate to be the center of attention.
"Is that the new student?" a person yelled. Ryujin just nodded, and I followed her.
"You can sit with us," she said, pointing at her friend. "She's An Yu-Jin; just call her Yujin," she said, and I sat down beside them.
