Disclaimer: I do not own the Percy Jacksons series, books or characters.

A/N: So, I didn't update for the longest time. All my pre-written chapters were lost so I have to re-write everything. I will be updating more often hopefully. As you might have known I did forget my password for a while. I know the chapter isn't the longest but I wanted to update because I have't done so in a year more than that I know.

Anyways, enjoy the chapter.

POV: Percy

It annoyed me that everyone thought I was some kind of freak. It wasn't my fault that my godly parent was Poseidon. I was being forced to come here anyways, why should I care? The simple reason of loyalty to my mother. I respected her and would do anything. Nyx wanted me to come and here I am. However, I wasn't happy about this but I knew I had to make due with it.

I swirled my fingers in the air, bored. Knock Knock Knock I jumped out of my bed, furious, and wanting to see who dared disturb me. I opened the door and there she was. Some blond chick, who wasn't bad looking, she was staring at me with stormy grey eyes. Ohh, a daughter of Athena.

"Hi" She stuttered and nervously played with her hands behind her back. "I was wondering if you wanted to come out, it is lunch after all." I didn't even notice how long I had spent in the cabin. I tried to smile at her and replied.

"Sure" I supposed I could have said more but didn't really feel in the mood to.

"I'm Annabeth, daughter of Athena." She held out her hand. I stared at it for a couple seconds before sighing and placing my hand in hers.

"Perseus, son of Nyx and Poseidon." I followed with the introductions.

"I know. Can I ask you a question?" She said, obviously curious about something. Typical for a daughter of Athena, honestly. They always have questions and aren't satisfied unless it is answered. I followed her to the mess hall and sat down at the Poseidon table.

I was surprised there wasn't another kid at the table, but then realised that it was probably only because of the pact the big three made. I got up after eating, I did not offer anything to the gods. I didn't care about them enough to do so.

"Why didn't you offer food to the gods?" Annabeth was now beside me again, as I walked towards the Poseidon cabin.

"I don't care. They are selfish creatures that have too many kids." I replied, curtly. I walked faster but she matched her stride to keep pace with me. I was getting annoyed now.

"That's not nice" She seemed to think for a couple seconds "The gods have done many things for us demigods. Without them we are nothing." I almost rolled my eyes. I knew there were going to be people who disagreed with my views, it looked like she was one of them.

"Whatever, Owl Brain." I now entered the cabin and shut the door before she could come up with a stupid remark.

Apparently, the gods were listening to my rant because I was called to Olympus not long after.

"Perseus Jackson, you are in huge trouble." My mother was looking at me in disappointment. I gave her a silent apology but she was too busy staring at an annoyed King of the gods.

"YOU!" Zeus rumbled, and I rolled my eyes. Which probably didn't help my case. "How dare you disrespect us!" He should be the god of Acting. I thought to myself as thunder rolled overhead and lightning appeared in the throne room.

"I don't care" I replied, too annoyed to even care.

"My son doesn't mean that" Nyx started to say but I cut her off.

"Yes, I do. You gods have been ruling too long. It is time for a new counsel to arise!" I complained and Zeus slammed his lightning bolt on the floor in anger.

"I, Zeus, in the name of the counsel banish you Perseus Jackson from ever entering Olympus again. You will be killed on sight if ever seen here again." He finished and flashed out. I turned to my mother who was staring at me in disbelief.

"You were supposed to be helping them!" She almost growled and grabbed my hand. I was flashed to the Primordial counsel room.

"Father" I bowed to the man at the head.

"Perseus, can you explain you actions?" He didn't seem very angry, that was good for me.

" I needed be banished. It is part of the prophecy and I thought better early than late." He started to laugh, but was shut up quickly when Nyx glared at him.

"YOU could have stayed with them!" She screeched. I nodded to show my agreement. "But you chose not to when you could be dating that blond." I cut her off with a glare.

"What?!"

"Perseus, it wasn't supposed to happen this way but I've seen the future and you are with the blond, Annie bell, I think. You are holding a son in your hands and she is smiling down on you." I choked, no, I refused to have my life planned out for me. I would never be with that blond, I promised myself.

"Go to your room" He replied as my mother swelled like a frog. I was only to glad to comply.

"Hey" A voice came out of the shadows. I turned around and my long term friend, Jason appeared. He was a son of Zeus, but only few knew. Zeus himself thought he was dead.

"Hey" I grinned, let the trouble begin.

*Time skip* Perseus is now 17

The camp was not faring well. In fact the monsters found a way to breach the camp walls and now could be seen almost anywhere. Chiron tried to keep up the moral but it was extremely low. Many demi-gods were dying, due to the attacks, and people were almost giving up hope. The gods of course only watched as their children were killed off one by one.

"Mother, I am ready to fulfill my duty." I bowed low. I had trained for this moment now. Over the years I watched the blond, Annabeth, and sure enough as my mother promised I developed feelings for her. I wanted to save the greeks for her.

"No" She replied, I was stunned "You will be sent to the camp for Primordial children." My mouth fell open in shock and wonder. "It is a small camp because we don't have many half-bloods. However, they hate the other gods and we need to unite forces with the greeks." I nodded and stood up.

My mother grabbed my hand and we were transported to the camp I was going to stay at. Welcome to Camp Dark, was on a sign above and arch. I looked around in wonder. I was anxious to see the inside of the camp, no doubt it was going to be better than that greek camp.

"Welcome" A dragon came up to us "I see Nyx that this is your son Perseus." She nodded and he turned and led us into a cave. "This is where you will be marked. Those silly romans who think their tattoos are great, they don't know the truth. The marks you earn in here are those that will determine everything. Good luck." And with that he pushed me into a huge body of water or some kind of liquid.

I fell a while before noticing something. It was much to quiet down here. Something should have happened by now. I twisted before scanning the surroundings. There were tons of seaweed that I could hide in if anything happened and a huge underwater cliff was approaching in my line of sight.

I tried to move closer to get a better look at it but I was silenced/stopped by a large force that crashed into my back. That was the last thing I remembered before everything turned black.
