Villain:

It has been one week today since, my so called 'father' called to inform me of my mothers passing. They decided that they would host the funeral at the Eleymery Mausoleum Churchyard.

My younger brother by two years invited me to come, and at first I refused, because they basically left me to fend for my own, as soon as I turned 16, so why should I give them the light of day? I kept ignoring the calls, and letters they sent my way. That is until they got more and more persistent with the letters. I finally decided two to three days ago to open one of their envelopes, sealed with the wax family crest. The one my brother inherited, now that he is the man of the house, he has always had the one thing I wasn't gifted, as soon as he opened his eyes, they saw it, the thing they had waited for all their lives, the violet eyes. The ones that caused them to conceive tons of children, me being the most recent they threw out, just because we didn't inherit the violet eyes, we all where thrown away like trash.

I slowly peeled open the envelope and pull out a letter, addressed to me. I skimmed over the content of the letter, realizing that not only was I invited to go to mothers funeral, but I was also invited for supper and to stay the night. I had a scowl displayed on my face at the thought of even going to the house for dinner, let alone the thought of staying there for the night.

I then pull out a fountain pen, a piece of paper, and bring the inkwell into hands reach. I then started writing a reply.

 <>Christos:

I am pleased to say I am well, thank you.

However I regret to inform you that I will only be attending mothers funeral, and maybe I will accept the invitation for supper, but I do not know if I will ever willingly stay at that dreadful house for more than two to three hours.

I am pleased to hear from you, my dear brother, owing to the fact that if it was father who invited me. This letter would have been as short as the two letter word, no.

So please count yourself as lucky dearest Christos.

So, in point form, yes, you will see me at the funeral for mother. See you in three days time.

 Yours truly: Erebus<>

I finished writing the letter, let the ink dry for a minute, before folding it up, then sliding it into the envelope, and wax sealing it without a family crest.

I then walked out of my office, walking to where Aris should and see him. "Aris." I say getting his attention, and he turns around. "Yes sure?" I then hand him the envelope addressed to Chirstos. "Please make sure they get the letter Aris." He looks at me shocked. "Sir? This is addressed to your brother? I thought you wouldn't be replying?" He hesitantly takes the letter from my hand. "I changed my mind, he was getting quite annoyingly persistent." He then nods seemingly understanding my reasoning of replying. "Anything else sir?" "No thank you Aris, that will be all." I then turn away and walk briskly back to my office.
