Movie Night

(Y/N) and Thalia were currently helping set up the movies. (Y/N) was glad he could work with Thalia on this. It gave him an excuse to spend time with her. They had already chosen the movies, and everyone else was putting on some comfortable clothes, and getting ready to relax. Some other Apollo kids were getting a popcorn machine from the kitchen, and some other kids were baking some snacks. After a few moments, everything had been set up, and (Y/N) sat next to Thalia on one of the many blankets that had been set out on the basketball court for the movies.

"I can't wait for everyone to get here," (Y/N) said to Thalia. "It's going to be so fun getting to just be kids for once."

"Yea," Thalia agreed, halfheartedly. (Y/N) noticed that she seemed distracted. She didn't seem excited for the movies, or to even be there.

"Are you okay?" He looks at her in concern.

"Yea, I'm fine. I'm just still thinking about Luke, and everything else that happened since I was gone."

(Y/N)'s face falls at the mention of the blonde haired boy. He had never trusted Luke, even before his betrayal. He doesn't say anything, instead turning to the rest of the campers, who were all settling down around the basketball court, getting comfortable for the movies. Once everyone had gotten ready to start, he turned on the first movie. The movie that had been chosen was How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World. It was a movie that (Y/N) had always liked, so he was glad it got picked, so he could focus on the movie, and not the bitterness he felt at the mention of the traitor.

It had been hours since they started the movie marathon. The sun was now starting to set, and they only had a few more movies to watch. (Y/N) had noticed Thalia getting tired, but didn't point it out. After a few moments, he feels Thalia lean on his shoulder, dozing off.

"Are you sleepy?" He raises an eyebrow at Thalia, smiling softly.

"Mhm..." Thalia hums in affirmation. (Y/N) gently wraps an arm around her, before gently adjusting her, laying her head on his lap so she could sleep comfortably. He continues watching the movie, absentmindedly running his fingers through her hair as he watches it.

(Y/N) doesn't know when, but during some point in the night, he drifts off to sleep. At one point in the night, he stirs a little at the feeling of someone moving next to him. He sees Thalia sitting up from his lap, and he almost makes a noise of disappointment at the loss of warmth. However, his disappointment is cut short when the black haired girl lays next to him, cuddling into his chest, wrapping her arms around him, and falling back asleep. He falls back asleep after a few moments, smiling peacefully as he wraps his arms around the sleeping girl, completely forgetting about the rest of the campers who were sleeping around the basketball court.

That morning, (Y/N) woke up to the sound of quiet whispering. He opens his eyes, and sees the rest of the camp, who were looking at him and Thalia. He notices Mr. D and Chiron looking at them. He knew that there was a possibility of them getting in trouble, but he doesn't care. Thalia was still sleeping, cuddling him, and he wasn't going to let this opportunity go to waste. He closes his eyes again, burying his face in Thalia's hair, falling back asleep. He would deal with the repercussions later. Right now, he was going to sleep comfortably, the girl he likes sleeping peacefully in his arms.

I hope everyone liked this chapter! It was just a little filler, so I didn't skip over an entire school year of bonding between the reader and Thalia! I'm going to do a few filler chapters, when there are time gaps in the books, and all of them will be focused on the evolution of their relationship!
