"Uh...Seira?"
"What?"
Seira appears to be intimidating and easily irritated in the future, so I must carefully ask my questions.
She hasn't spoken anything since we got in the car and drove off the bridge. I can see her face via the side mirror, and based on her look, she probably needs to let everything out. Maybe even stay alone for a while; she also lost Chifuyu, and I don't believe she has anyone close to her left in her life.
I want to let her enjoy the silence but I have to find out what is going on in order to fix everything.
"About Mitsuya-" She abruptly turns her head to glare at me. "I-I, uh...Well, you said that...It was my fault he died but...What did I do? Sorry, I just don't really remember things well, so I might keep asking some weird questions." It's the best explanation I can give her without sounding crazy. "I-I mean, I'm still kind of in shock, so my head is pretty fuzzy!"
From the front seat she's sitting, her eyes go up and down on me, contemplating whether to answer me or not. She sighs and looks ahead as her eyes change when she recalls the memory of Mitsuya.
I have never seen such sadness in somebody's eyes. They must have loved each other so much..
"It was Mikey. He made a fool out of me." Mikey...? "I was working for the Black Dragons as a spy for Tenjiku."
Tenjiku? I've never heard of that gang before.
"I see." I say.
"As you may recall, my brothers were upset when they discovered I was dating Takashi, let alone being a member of Toman under his division. When we fought them that night at the port...Takashi and I almost died there. Mikey and I were able to convince Kurokawa Izana and my brothers to stop the fight and that is when everything began. Tenjiku's condition was to have me as a member and so we became partner gangs. However, as time passed, Tenjiku, like every other gang, craved more power, fame, and money. It seemed like I was getting in the way of everything. My relationship with Toman was a source of contention, yet they couldn't get rid of me because they needed me. They couldn't possibly touch me, anyway.
"My brothers had to learn to live with the relations I had and so, just when I thought Rin, Ran, and I were finally becoming a family, gettin' close to each other, they lied to me and showed me faux proof that Toman was preparing to betray them and murder every single Tenjiku member. Of course, I wasn't convinced, so I went directly to Mikey, only to find out that it wasn't a lie. Since he confirmed my brothers' words, that automatically meant that what they said about Takashi was also true. He was assigned to kill the Haitani family...that includes me."
What!? That can't be true, Mitsuya would never harm a friend, let alone the person he fell in love with!
"So...You killed him before he did...?"
"Like I said earlier," She turns back to face me. "You teamed up with my brothers and killed him right in front of my eyes with my gun, that has my fingerprints on it, so when the police would get there, I'd be arrested. Instead they found two dead bodies inside an old warehouse."
"Two?"
"Well, you got away," She scoffs. "And, of course, I wouldn't leave my husband behind. I tried to save him but it was already too late. He died in my arms."
I teamed up with the Haitani brothers? What the hell have I turned into over the years?
Wait, she said husband!? So they also got married but it seems like I ended everything. I could've done something to help them but instead I joined a rival gang and agreed to destroy Toman.
