always said I would never
want a love like theirsit's an ages old story
opposites attract,
she is so full of emotion she overflows
he is as cold as winter
she spends her life rectifying wrongs
he marches his own path,
never looking backthey say clichés are clichés for a reason
perhaps theirs is a story of survival
one in which they persevere through
even the greatest of wars
a united front, forever they stand
hand in hand at the front of the battlefield
