This Work was inspired by:
Yandere Undertale AU's x Reader One shots.(Requests closed) On Quotev by Zena Hamato, ErrorAleeza, Goldenfrost and Floofy.
(Wattpad won't let me link to it so... This is the best I can do)
This was supposed to be like a Halloween oneshot... Nope, it got to be a short story instead lol
Anyway, as always, mind the tags as this is a yandere story, especially the domestic violence/abuse tag.
I will be posting a new chapter everyday until Halloween when the last chapter will be posted (◍•ᴗ•◍)❤
And happy Spooktober everyone! 🎃
--------------------------------
You have been married for how long now? 5 years? Some would say that it wasn't very long but to you... it felt like an eternity. You had loved your husband very much. That was until he showed his true colors after exchanging rings and saying your vows to each other. He had completely turned into a different person the moment you had arrived home from your wedding night.
His usual warm affection had turned frigid like the Arctic sea and his touch turned harsh, creating small unseen bruises here and there. He knew where to not to bruise as he didn't want others to question things. Though there had been times where he forgot and the next day, people would ask what happened and your husband had smirked, hugging you close as he answered. "We sometimes like to play a bit too roughly" That was always his go to response and it worked as people would blush and laugh it off... too distracted to see your fake smile.
That was your life for the past 5 years and probably would be for a very long time... it didn't help the two of you had to move due to your husband's new job, removing you from family and friends. You had to quit your own job as he would supposedly support the both of you which left you with the care of the new house. It wasn't a bad house, it could become cozy with some work! It had been bigger than the previous house you lived in and it had a big backyard that could become beautiful with some care. Though the house was located a bit away from everything, leaving you stuck here as your husband used the singular car the both of you had. You could walk to more crowded areas but you would have needed to walk through a scary forest which you couldn't muster the courage to do. So the only time you left the house was to go grocery shopping or to tend to the newly formed garden. It had been something to do than to sit inside all day, waiting for your husband to arrive with baited breath.
You were nowhere a good gardener but it didn't hurt to try. You might fail but in the end, you'll learn how to grow pretty flowers. You were determined to! "Y/N? Where are you?" You heard your husband shout for you and you instantly got up from the flower beds you were attending to and shook off as much dirt as you could from your clothing.
"Charles! Sorry, I was outside tending to the gar-" You rushed inside, the big glass door with wooden frames already slid open to let some fresh air into the house. "Lazying about again? When the house needs more cleaning? And there's no dinner after I get home from work?" Oh! You forgot to-! How could you forget... you had lost yourself while you planted some seeds!
"But I wasn't-!" You tried to explain that you hadn't just laid around doing absolutely nothing! You didn't like to do that! Unless you were absolutely exhausted, that is. "Don't make up excuses and wash up before you make dinner" Charles huffed, crossing his arms, waiting for your response.
"A-alright" You accidentally stuttered, you knew he hated that but you couldn't help it with how callous he gazed at you with those sharp eyes. You remember they once looked at you with such softness and warmth but now? You had forgotten what that felt like. "Good... shout for me when dinner is ready... won't you, my dear?" His words cut into you and every time he used that pet name... it sent you into a panic as it was meant as a warning.
