"CAN YOU BELIEVE IT BROTHER? THEY CALL ME THE PERFECT HUSBAND AND STILL REJECT ME!" Papyrus huffed as he told his dear brother about what happened. He had finally lured another needy human into his dwelling only for them to reject him and refuse any kind of gifts. You didn't even like his cookies! Everyone loved his cookies!

"ME! I'M A GREAT COOK! DECENT BAKER... AN AMAZING GARDNER, MASTER AT THE ART OF PUZZLING! THE WHOLE PACKAGE!" He was quite the catch! Yet you threw him straight back into the ocean! "I ASKED THEM WHAT THEY WANTED... DO YOU KNOW WHAT THEY SAID?" He huffed at the memory.

"I dunno bro, but I think you're bout to tell me" His brother, Sans, lazily smiled. Papyrus was talking to him through a mirror... was it dirty? He really needed to clean it. But right now, the priority was to tell his brother about his very hectic day! "MY FRIENDSHIP! I'M THE PERFECT PARTNER YET THEY DIDN'T-!" He stomped around. You were just so odd! Weird! Downright strange! "You always said getting flies to stick was too easy... I think fate heard ya" His brother mused with that grin of his.

"THEY MADE PUNS, SANS... PUNS! THOUGH, THEY APOLOGIZED QUICKLY" A bit too quickly, it has caught him off guard how frozen your Soul had become the moment you realized you had made one. Even when he said it was fine, your Soul was still... It puzzled him and he was a master at puzzles!

"Heh, you could always send them my way... I'm sure I could loosen them up for ya" He doesn't think you would really like how his brother tried to seduce his victims, Sans was more of the bad boy boyfriend type while Papyrus himself was the perfect husband!

"WHAT? NO, IF THEY DON'T WANT ME, THEY PROBABLY DON'T WANT YOUR LAZY BONES" Would you like his brother more than him? Maybe you didn't want a loving husband who adores you and want you to stay with him but an affair with a lover that showed you new experiences with no strings attached? Nyeh, what they didn't know about his brother was there were always strings attached, they were just transparent, hard to see.

"Welp, you're right but they would have loved my puns I'm sure" You probably would... he had to admit, your wordplay wasn't half bad. "ANYWAY... HOW ARE YOUR... AFFAIR GOING?" Perhaps his brother had more luck than he was having right now. "Heh, better than yours but the human I have is more self centered" They truly were! Every time a sad little human came into his web, the instant he showed them any kind of affection... they latched onto him like some starved animal. Though, it worked out quite nicely for him and his brother.

"THEY ALWAYS ARE!" He huffed, sometimes he got tired of it all. Pleasing all of the humans were tiring work, especially the more demanding ones. "Not this time around it sounds like" Sans smirked, he could say that again. You didn't want his affection nor were you demanding... why he had been the demanding one!

"IT IS WEIRD, THEY KEPT TRYING TO SAVE MY FEELINGS AND THEY'RE TOO... POLITE" You apologized too much and too quickly and if you sensed he was displeased by something you would instantly come up with something to cheer him up or blame the problem on yourself.

"KEPT REFUSING MY VERY LOVING AFFECTION!" You had kept him at arm's reach but not any closer than that. "I EVEN HAD TO BEG FOR THEM TO COME BACK" It was more of a plea than begging but he couldn't force you to stay unless you wanted to. Lest you become suspicious of his intentions.

"Pfft- you could have cut your losses little bro" He could have let you go, said goodbye and let the door in the real world vanish, along with this dimension he was now living in. "NO! I HAVE NEVER BACKED DOWN AND WILL NOT WHEN A CHALLENGE FACES ME!" You were a challenge and he wouldn't back down from snatching your delicious Soul.

"Alright, good luck bro" His brother waved before vanishing with the mirror... he sighed... friends huh? He didn't know anything about friendships, not a single thing! He didn't need to as his victims were usually unhappy married spouses looking for something more... fulfilling. Yet... you-... you weren't happy with your marriage if you were, the door wouldn't have let you in. But you firmly stuck standfast, telling him over and over again you were taken. How could you say no when he was clearly the better option!? Did you know he wanted something from you? Could you sense his intense hunger for that sweet delicious Soul you had inside of your chest? No, because if you did, then you wouldn't have agreed to come back.
