A few minutes later
"Close those eyes!" shouted Skipper
"Why do I have to..." asked Alex
"Skipper, this seems..." I said
But Skipper cut us off from talking and kept talking.
"Do it!" shouted Skipper
"Alright, their closed" said Alex
"Same here" I added
"Rico!"
Rico had cut up an alternative option for food for us.
"Open those mouths" demanded Skipper
We obliged and he put something in our mouths.
"Fire in the hole!" shouted Skipper
He shut our mouths and told us to savor the food, everyone was waiting for our opinion on the food.
"This is better than steak!" exclaimed Alex
"I agree, this is better than what I was used to!" I added
Everyone cheered and applauded for the victory. Marty proposed a toast for the victory, just like Alex, he had to be extra for the simplest things.
"To Alex" said Marty
"To Alex!" shouted everyone
Everyone took a sip of the seawater and immediately spat it out, as Alex talked with his friends, Skipper pulled me to the side.
"So, Mady, are you staying with us?"
"You know, I think you judged them too harshly. They're not as bad as you told me they were. I think is about time I start hanging out with animals that are more similar to me, but I'd still like to stay friends with you guys"
"I can respect that Madison, I look forward for you to start a new journey with the hippie" said Skipper
I suddenly heard my name being called out.
"Hey Mady? Are you coming with us?" asked Alex
"Yeah, wait up"
As I went off to join them, I failed to hear something that Private wanted to tell me.
"Uh Skipper? Shouldn't we tell her and the others that the boats outta gas?"
"Nah, just smile and wave boys, smile and wave"
