"hey is it ok if i can teach you english while i'm doing this?its because then we can save time and be more productive, although it would probably be smart to-" i don't get to finish my sentence as my phone buzzes , another message reminding me that i should be at school by now... crap!
i text her and tell her i'm really ill so i cant come to school and not to our after school club either and that i was really sorry, i wanted to tell her the truth but i couldn't because she neither liked or understood anime, she also probably wouldn't believe me.
"Right, Thorfinn, time to start learning some English"
three hours later Thorfinn has mastered the extreme basics of the english language, has managed to make Lily laugh (several times) and has become closer friends with her and also by the end of the tree hours has new, modern looking clothes that he likes and feels comfortable in due to them being made out of his old clothes and feels a lot more comfortable around Lily.
