Aditi's POV
Hm...I stepped out of the car as the wind blew in my face. I closed my eyes breathing in the fresh air when...
"Hello!!! We are going to be late!" Sonia pushed me so she could get out of the car, "Lilly, swear to god if you are pouting again I am going to take away your phone"
"How rude! I don't want to go with you at all" Lilly sighed as she got out after her sister
So much for enjoying the moment. I grabbed my suitcase out of the truck and walked into the airport. Our flight was to leave in an hour, and surprisingly there weren't many people at the airport. After getting our tickets, and putting up our luggage we had some time to ourselves as we sat in front of Gate #12. Lilly was going through her photos on her phone she had taken with Rey, and Sonia was looking at her reflection in the mirror. Did I really want to go to the Maldives with these girls? I sighed. First, we were taking a flight from Mysalore to Colombo, Sri Lanka and then a flight from Colombo to Male, Maldives. From there we would take a boat to our island resort. It is going to be amazing, but if they remain the way they are it will be a disaster. Just then I had an idea. I moved so I was sitting on the handle of the chair right between, Sonia and Lilly.
"What the f...?!" Sonia glared at me
"I want to clear a few things first." I turned to Lilly, "I am single and in no relationship with Rey. However, I do know that he is seriously not the guy for you, Lilly. You deserve better! So much better than that...cold, calculative jerk" Who is always there to comfort me, and motivate me...so maybe not cold or a jerk but definitely calculative
"I...still like him, Aditi. For once I found a guy who wanted to be with me only to find out it was a lie as well. I need some indication that it will get better"
"You won't get one if you keep sulking and looking behind you" Sonia boomed behind me, "Kashaps have to keep going no matter our past"
"Man, you are really hell bound on the whole Kashap pride thing aren't you?"
"Of course" She shrugged, "It's what we have grown up with"
"Well then let's change up things" I smiled
"What do you mean?" Lilly asked
"Let's change identities and leave our troubles behind. For once let's just be ourselves with no family pressure behind us. I am just Aditi. Not Aditi Singh who's family is expecting her to take over the company and marry someone rich "
"Wow can't believe they are giving you the family business" Sonia laughed as I glared
"Okay. I am Lilly...just Lilly. Not Lilly Kashap who has an impressive twin sister, and not the girl who has to put on a smile for everyone around her" She smiled freely for once
"This is stupid" We looked at her when...
"Plane boarding for Colombo at Gate #12"
"Come on Sonia! We aren't moving until you do" I looked at her eagerly
"Do it Sonia" Lilly did the same
"Fine. I still think it's stupid...I am just Sonia. Not Sonia Kashap who has to uphold the standards of the Kashap Family, but I am still the super talented and beautiful girl ever"
I guess some things never change. We laughed as we gathered our stuff, and boarded the plane. Oh well at least we made some progress.
