Ellaine’s POV
I was sleeping with my mother. I hugged her. She turned to me.
“Dear, what’s wrong?”
“Nothing. I was just wondering if why would I go to Australia.”
“You continue your studies there, and then, you work with your dad. Then he’ll introduce someone to you.”
“Someone? Who’s that someone?”
“The one you’re going to marry someday. You’ll meet him next week.
“What? Will he come here?”
“No, instead, we’ll come there. For about one week.”
Oh no. How about Richard. He said he’ll marry me someday.
“Um, Mother, if I would be inlove with someone here, will you tell Dad?”
“Of course, we would settle that. We’re not yet sure if Dad agrees, but to me, it’s just right to follow your heart. Sleep now, Ellaine, or you’ll get late again.”
“Okay Mother.”

The next morning.
I saw Richard and Emma walking. I approached them. Something’s wrong with Emma. We go together in school. I only use my bike if I’m late.
“Emma! I thought you’re coming with me.”
“Later, I’ll talk to you.”
What’s wrong with Emma? Well, I guess I’ll bike my way again to school. When I was on the way there..
I see Cheska, the class chick. Well, we’re not on the same room, but she always teases me for biking on my way to school, my geek best friend, and for being neatly dressed. Don’t mind her. She’s only jealous. When I tried to avoid her way, I failed.
“Well, well. The geek flirt is here. Always tries to flirt the coolest boy on the other university, Richard. He’s MINE.” After that, she laughed.
“Witch.”
“What did you say, you dumbass?!”
“I said—“ She slapped me. I fell on the floor. It was really hard, and I was unconscious. I can only see white.
Stacey’s POV
How dare they do this to Ellaine. The next time I see them, I’ll call Richard. I can’t punch, that’s why I’ll pass. I know Richard, it’s always on Ellaine’s mouth. “Richard is so cute!” and “Richard’s going to our house!” and “Richard’s so cool when he plays!” and I’m so eager to know who that Richard is. Oh, Emma’s here. Is the guy he’s with.. her boyfriend?
“How’s Ellaine, Stacey?”
“She should be fine by now, it’s only a bump on her head. Ice treatment should be okay.”
“Let’s go Emma. She’s fine.” The mysterious boy said.
“Okay, but are you sure you won’t check on Ellaine?”
“She said Lia’s fine.” Huh? Lia? She calls Ellaine, Lia? What the hell. I don’t even understand a single thing. He calls her girlfriend by her name and then she calls Ellaine a special name. They left. And then the nurse said Ellaine’s awake.
“Ellaine! You’re awake!”
“No. You want me to sleep again?”
“Funny, Ellaine. Funny. Someone stopped by here.”
“Who?”
“Emma and her boyfriend.”
“HER boyfriend? I didn’t know she had a boyfriend?”
“They were so close to each other. Then he called you ‘Lia’.”
“Huh? But only Richard calls me that! Maybe Richard told Emma’s boyfriend to call me that.”
Yeah, maybe. Anyways, I asked the nurse if Ellaine’s recovered by now.
“She can go,” she said, “just keep the ice treatment going.”
Alright! I accompanied Ellaine on her way.
Emma’s POV
When I heard that Ellaine is awake, I tried to go in. But, I heard voices.
“Ellaine! You’re awake!”
“No. You want me to sleep again?”
“Funny, Ellaine. Funny. Someone stopped by here.”
“Who?”
“Emma and her boyfriend.”
“HER boyfriend? I didn’t know she had a boyfriend?”
“They were so close to each other. Then he called you ‘Lia’.”
“Huh? But only Richard calls me that! Maybe Richard told Emma’s boyfriend to call me that.”
What planet did Ellaine and Stacey came from? Richard and ONLY Richard will call her Lia! Dorks. I didn’t bother going in. I got to the classroom myself. Gladly, Ellaine made it to attend class today. Curse Cheska. I’m going to tear her to pieces.
“Goodness, Ellaine! What took you so long?”
“Of course I came from the clinic I won’t recover just yet.”
Oh yeah. Why did I say that.
“Oh yeah Emma, you’re hitting the coolest boy on Boscon University.”
“Huh? Stacey, is the boy you’re mentioning, Richard?”
“The one that you came with this morning.”
“Oh yeah, that’s Richard, my brother. I’m not into him! Goodness. Ew.”
“Haha! Stacey, that was Richard! I told you so! Because he calls me ‘Lia’. Wait, he still calls me Lia? Oh my gosh Stacey! Richard’s still calling me Lia!” Actually, Ellaine you did not tell Emma. You agreed with her. You’re still a dork.
“Here we go again, Richard, Richard, Richard.”
“(giggles) Stacey! I thought Richard forgot already!”
Well? I can’t blame Ellaine for being like that. She misses Richard already. She haven’t talked with Richard since they separated school. We talked about him this whole day. Even when our teacher’s discussing, Ellaine keeps on sending letters to us.
I hope Richard thinks of her like that too.
