Hours later it was pushing midnight lo'ak was still not back I was exhausted I get off my skimwings I look over to Tsaheyli she is leaning against a tree looking as if she is about to collapse
"Hey Tsaheyli"I say walking over she looks up tears are filling her eyes
"This is all my fault"
"No it is not"I say putting my hands on her forearms
"The boy he's back"I hear someone yell
We both look at each other then start running over Tsaheyli jumps down to her brother hugging him
"Oh thank eywa are you hurt"
"I'm fine"lo'ak says pushing his sister off
I could see the hurt in her eye then she turn away stepping back as her parents come over
"I pray for the power that I will not pluck the eyes out of my youngest son"
"No my son is to blame"my dad says I step back as he pushes my brother to his knees
"No it was my idea aonung tried to stop me"lo'ak spoke up I catch Tsaheyli eye she
Looks at me surprised
"Let's go"growled jake then grabbed lo'ak
I walk over to Tsaheyli
"Are you ok"I ask
"I'm fine I have to go check on lo'ak"
She starts to walk off I hesitate for a moment then grab her hand
"I know this was aonung idea I will talk to him"
"Thank you"
Once I get home I wait outside until aonung walks out for once in his life quiet he tries to sneak past me but I grab his shoulder
"I don't know why lo'ak took the blame but I know for a fact that he didn't want to go out of the reef"
Aonung just looked down
"What is your problem with them"

"Don't you think they know that don't you think they have been treated differently for years why because they have an Extra finger"
"I didn't think about that"
"Aonung Tsaheyli told me that she has been protecting all of her siblings all her life and not just from bullies from the sky people"
Aonung keep looking at the ground
"All of them have grown up in war it is the only thing they have you not truly looked at them seen all there scars"

Aonung finally looked up I could see what I had said really sink in

"Man I was trying to have a good big brother moment"I say leaning back "and for the record i'm not"
"Totally you spend all day with her from dusk till dawn"
I just roll my eyes and walk in catching my mother's eye
