Raven: What's the matter? Afraid of the dark?
As Raven's eyes glow red in the shadows, Jean attempts to escape, only for the darkness to engulf her.
Phoenix: You don't control my mind!
A bright flame emerges in the darkness, revealed to be Jean with the wings of the Phoenix as she sets the darkened X-Mansion ablaze. Now back in Azarath, both Jean and Raven grapple in the air as they fly into a building and Jean fireballs them both towards a nearby rooftop. As Raven's Soul-Self knocks the mutant back as it wraps around Raven before dissipating, revealing Dark Raven laughing sinisterly. The Teen Titan charges at Jean, taking out the Ebon Sword as the X-Man attempts to defend herself, only for Raven to stop time and slice her clean in half from the waist. When time resumes, Jean screams in pain as she splits apart, only for that scream to turn into maniacal laughter as she puts her body back together and Dark Phoenix takes control.
Dark Phoenix: It's too late for you now!
As Raven attempts to slash her again, Dark Phoenix catches and breaks the blade with no effort before grabbing the half-demon by the neck and laughing manically once more with her flames surrounding both of them. Now somewhere in space, Dark Raven finds herself alone, only for the massive avatar of the Phoenix to appear before her. Raven releases her Soul-Self and attacks, only to be knocked away easily, crashing into one moon and landing on another. As the half-demon recovers, Dark Phoenix creates multiple clones as each fires a blast of psionic flames that Raven blocks with a barrier. While defending, Raven telekinetically hurls a moon at the Dark Phoenix clones, causing them to dissipate. As the moon nears the real Dark Phoenix, the mutant smirks as it hits her and it crashes into another celestial body. As Dark Raven turns away, Jean speeds behind her and grabs the half-demon by the back of the head.
Dark Phoenix: Let me cleanse you of your demons! Sear and scorch them all away!
Jean releases a blast of fire right through Dark Raven's head as flames envelop the area once again. Now back in Azarath, Dark Raven finds herself in front of Dark Phoenix's hand, with the mutant firing a psionic blast of flames that engulfs her.
Dark Phoenix: BURN!!!
Raven's body, now charred into coal, lets out a golden crack as Raven's golden soul touches Jean's forehead.
Raven: No. I'll take this pain from you.
As she starts to absorb Jean's power, it backfires on Raven as a pillar of flaming light, allowing Jean to merge with the Phoenix Force to become the White Phoenix of the Crown.
White Phoenix: Enough! I'm taking everything that twisted you to somewhere white, hot, pure!
As fire engulfs the area, Raven telekinetically takes two objects from her charred corpse as everything fades to white with the battle continuing in the White Hot Room. As White Phoenix appears in her domain, she notices that her opponent's soul has turned into the White Raven, now equipped with the Rings of Azar.
White Phoenix: Scott! Charles! Everyone! Give me strength!
Jean fires a blast of flames at Raven, who calmly collects herself and her power, ready to end the fight.
Raven: I am not the daughter of a demon. I am a daughter of Azarath! Azarath Metrion Zinthos!!!
A pillar of light emerges from Raven's soul, nearly engulfing Jean as the Phoenix Force attempts to protect her. It manages to succeed as it flies through the light and aims straight for Raven's soul. Jean then fires another blast of fire that strikes Raven, but the half-demon manages to hang in there. Jean then tries to telepathically communicate with Raven as a distraction, managing to distract her long enough to obliterate the Rings of Azar as the avatar of the Phoenix slams through Raven's soul and Jean fires one more fire blast that destroys Raven's soul, with the Teen Titan attempting to use a shield for protection, but that only slightly delayed the inevitable as it burns away, with Raven only able to scream in pain as she burns and dissipates into dust. White Phoenix appears back in Azarath before looking at Raven's charred corpse.
White Phoenix: I'm sorry, but now the demon can't hurt anyone again.
Jean then flies away, leaving Azarath as the screen fades to black.
KO!
