Last Time: After Breakfast Lizzy and Annie headed to Diagon Alley to open an account at Gringotts and purchase their supplies for school. The first stop on their trip was Ollivanders where they found another young witch purchasing her first wand, with a basilisk horn core, before leaving while speaking parseltongue to each other. After trying several different wands without attuning Annabeth grew discouraged and doubted if she was a witch or not before pairing with her perfect match, a pear wand with a horned serpent horn core. After leaving Ollivanders Lizzy took Annie aside to teach her her first spell, lumos. With the excited blonde placated they went to Gringotts to open the new Wilson family vault only to discover Elizabeth had already been registered with the bank. The ravenclaw had been given access to the Grey family vault as well as ownership of the entirely sealed and inaccessible Vault Eleven. With Lizzy being unable to have primary ownership of two vaults they put the Wilson family vault in Annabeth's name before making their deposit. Later that afternoon after finishing all of their school shopping as well as grabbing the chrysalis Elizabeth needed for her potion and a partial gift for Ominis the sisters ate in the Leaky Cauldron before heading home.

Elizabeth fussed with her hair as she sat in front of the mirror late in the afternoon on the twenty-fourth of August with a light frown upon her lips. She liked how her longer auburn hair, with a single dark purple streak framing the side of her face, looked but it was frustrating how much time it took to ensure her wavy locks didn't tangle. Normally she would have Whitney help her manage it while she was home, yet with school so close she wanted to become used to doing so herself again. With a sigh the ravenclaw set her brush down, deciding that it was as perfect as it was going to get before standing up to retrieve her satchel and looking into the mirror once more to adjust the astral patterned robes she was wearing. Turning around she exhaled with a light frown before asking. "Okay, how do I look?"

Annie narrowed her emerald eyes playfully while scrunching up her nose before beaming widely. "You look really pretty, Lizzy." The little golden blonde giggled before jumping off of the bed and excitedly running over to her to give her a hug. Looking up at her Annie asked with a grin. "Are you ready, can we go to the party now?"

At the question Lizzy raised an eyebrow and smirked down at her precious little sister. "We? What do you mean we, you little ball of sun? We talked about this earlier, there won't be anyone your age there. It would be rude to just invite my little sister to Ominis' birthday party, especially on such short notice." While that was a big reason she didn't want to bring Annie, another was that Sebastian would be there and the two's last meeting had not gone well. A giggle immediately tore from her throat at the pout the little witch tossed up at her. "Don't be like that my sweet little sundrop; there will be plenty of opportunities for you to meet more of my friends once we leave for school in a week."

Despite her assurances; Annie pulled away with a frown and puffed up her cheeks in an adorable manner. "But Lizzzyyy, you said Ominis is nice! He won't mind if I come! Besides, I helped you make his gift too!" Her little sister looked so cute as she huffed in the black robes highlighted in light pink Lizzy had gotten the blonde as one of the many birthday gifts from her this year in preparation of the younger girl's entrance into her world. "I want to meet him, please!" The soon to be first year pleaded with big round emerald eyes and a quivering lower lip.

It was so tempting to relent and give in to Annie like she often did. However; she couldn't let Annie think it was okay to get her way by pouting and throwing a fit; even if she did think it was precious. Lizzy attempted to put on a stern expression, though she was unsure how well she actually did so. "Annie, not today. I didn't ask Ominis ahead of time so bringing you unannounced would be terribly rude." Feeling her voice may have held too hard of an edge when Annie flinched, the ravenclaw sighed and bent down to kiss her sister's forehead affectionately before saying in a softer tone. "I apologize for not thinking of asking ahead of time. But you will meet him and the others on the train. I promise."
