Last Time: The Greys and Elizabeth's adopted parents met each other for the first time. Callista and Evelyn traded thinly veiled barb with each other before eventually being interrupted by Headmaster Black tell everyone it was tie to begin heading to the venue. After Callista and the Greys left, Elizabeth shared a tender moment with her parents before they also left with Mrs. Dagworth. AFter a short explanation of the rules for the event from Professor Sharp; the Flagbearers began making their way to the Quidditch field as well. On the way Elizabeth took another calming drought to attempt to calm her nerves of returning to a place that held sch terrible memories for her. Yet even as she did so the witch spoke with Izzy, the phantom version of herself, as they walked. In the end the two of them resolve to stop holding back and to show Callista and anyone who dared to abuse them that they would not be victims any longer. Later; Imelda and Sebastian were the first to compete. The two of them worked well together, sticking to a theme of fire and ice as they gathered up their opponents to take them down flashily in large groups. By the end of the match te two had done well together and as he listened to the roar of the crowd; Sebastian began to feel as if he had finally received something he had always been lacking. Something that showed him perhaps he had been causing more harm to himself than he realized prior.

Annabeth

Annabeth watched with wide emerald eyes as Sebastian and Imelda dispatched with the various statues set before them. The young witch still didn't trust the male slytherin after what had happened last Christmas Eve. And his insistence at pushing himself closer to her sister when he was awful for her had done little to change her mind. But as she watched him and Imelda cast their spells; she couldn't help but be impressed. "That was incredible!" The young blonde practically squealed in delight once the round had been finished and the slytherin's made their way back to their waiting room. Turning to the platinum blonde sitting beside her, she quickly grasped the girl's hands in her own while wearing a wide grin. "Don't you think so Nyxie!?" She asked her friend excitedly.

Nyxie for her part grinned shyly back at her and nodded her head more slowly. "Yes, it was. We don't often use such big flashy magic at home." Her friend admitted. "Seeing it here is fun." The young slytherin returned with a giggle of her own. The happy sound from the other witch made the golden blonde's heart soar since Nyxie had been acting oddly ever since she had introduced her parents before the match. Annabeth watched as her best friend's smile widened and her mismatched grey and green eyes seemed to light up in excitement more. "They worked well together, did you see that joint attack they did!? I want to try something like that with you!" Nyxie gushed, seeming to finally come out of whatever state had left her even quieter than usual.

Annabeth's own grin widened in response as she squeezed her friend's hands more and practically bounced in her seat. "Right!? Imelda's spell was amazing! Do you think she would teach it to us if we asked her to at the next flying class?" The bubbly blonde asked excitedly in a rush as the wind rushed by them high in the Slytherin booth they were occupying. "I would love to try that combination out with you as well!" The sound of an airy laugh drew the young witch's attention to a teen sitting near them. "What's so funny?" Annabeth asked the older brunette woman with a frown, bristling at her mirth.

"Nothing, I just love how enthusiastic you are about learning new spells. It reminds me of Ellie and how excited she is whenever Professor Mor-" Anne Sallow began before stopping mid word to clear her throat before continuing. "Whenever we are practising together I mean." There was something about the other witch that always seemed off whenever Annabeth saw her, yet she still liked the slytherin more than her twin. Waving a hand dismissively, much like Lizzy and her mother often did, the brunette continued with a mischievous grin. "Froststorm is a very advanced spell though. Wanting to learn it at your age is very ambitious. Maybe you should have been in Slytherin with us instead." The remark made Annabeth's stomach churn a bit as she remembered her talk with the rubbish old hat at the sorting ceremony, yet before she could dwell on it for long Anne spoke up again. "I could probably teach you both the freezing charm instead. It isn't as powerful, but it does have a similar effect."
