Ty's POV

After we picked up the girls from the water they hopped on our boards and we paddled back together.

I noticed one thing missing.

I looked back to see Indigo sitting on Spencer's wave board, looking up at the stars.

I scoffed and shook my head and continued my way to shore.

When we hit the sand, the girls went to put their clothes back on.

Me and the guys stood by the water's edge just talking with something hit my foot.

It was Spencer's wave board but Indigo was nowhere in sight.

I looked up and out to the water but i didn't see her coming up to shore.

I heard faint screaming and without hesitation i swam out in the water.

I couldn't see anything but the top of the black water because it was so dark.

I heard more screaming so i followed the sound.

I heard the guys calling my name and swimming after me but i didn't pay any attention to them.

I saw a small track of the glowing algae so i followed that.

In a minute i found a big spot where the algae was glowing and i knew that Indigo was here.

Looking around the area i called her name over and over.

I wasn't going to think she drowned.

No she couldn't have.

As the thought crossed my mind i dove off of my surfboard and into the water.

It was absolutely impossible to see anything in the black sea.

Moving the algae around, i searched for a source of light that i could use to find Indigo

Something pale showed up in the corner of my eye, but i had to coming up for air before i could get a better look at it.

As soon as i was up and out of the water i was back in it trying to locate the pale figure i saw.

I moved the algae around more and i saw the pale object.

But it wasn't an object.

It was a hand.

That was connected to a body.

Indigo's body.

And it was sinking fast.

I clawed at the water to get down to her.

I grasped her hand and despite the warm water, her hand was cold.

I dragged her into my arms and kicked to the top of the water.

When i popped back up i caught my breath and i started trying to get Indigo to wake up.

I started slapping her face gently over and over but it wasn't working.

"Get her to shore!" Cody yelled at me.
