Aditi stood before the mirror, her heart pounding with nervous excitement. She had just finished getting ready for her roka ceremony, a pivotal moment in her life. The traditional Yellow colour saree clung to her frame, with small chocker and ear rings of her mother and her reflection in the mirror beamed back at her, a mix of anxiety and anticipation.

Suddenly, she heard a series of car honks from outside. Before she could react, her only friend, Deepa, burst into the room, panting heavily. Aditi rushed to her side, handing her a glass of water, with concern  on her face.

Deepa was an Aditi childhood friend they both went to the same college till their graduation, Deepa started working whereas Aditi family members didn't allow her to work because to them working is for male and female belong to kitchen, Deepa hates aditi's family because the way they treat her she  lovingly call Aditi as adi. Deepa works in Jaipur at a start up company.

Deepa, settle down," Aditi whispered soothingly as she took in her friend's exhausted appearance.

After a moment, Deepa regained her composure and blurted out, "Adi, you didn't tell me you're going to get married into the Suryavanshi family!"

Aditi looked at Deepa, puzzled by her friend's sudden outburst. "Suryavanshi? Who are they?"

Deepa smacked her head in disbelief and said, "Adi, you don't know who they are? You're an idiot. The Suryavanshi family is one of the richest and most influential powerful families in India, they belong to Jaipur but their businesses are all over the world and you, my dear, are going to be their daughter-in-law!

Aditi's eyes widened as the weight of the revelation sunk in. The Suryavanshi were renowned for their richness and prestige, a family that everyone admired and scared. She felt a mixture of shock and awe.

Deepa continued, "And, you're marrying Rudransh Suryavanshi! He's a heartthrob for many girls. Despite being a father, he doesn't look like one, and yet, girls adore him. He's the dream husband of many."

Aditi felt butterflies in her stomach as she heard the name of her prospective groom. The very thought of marrying someone so renowned left her both excited and nervous.

Deepa went on, "But, bad luck, he didn't come today for his own roka. He's abroad. However, his son is adorable and too cute. You're the luckiest woman to have such a wonderful family. Adi, your Kanha answered your prayers and now I don't have any doubts in your marriage I know he is divorcee but no one knows the reason but his ex wife was nuisance.

Aditi was still trying to process the lots of information thrown at her. Deepa had gone from questioning her decision to praising it in a matter of minutes. It was overwhelming, but Aditi couldn't help but smile, touched by her friend's excitement.

Reading Aditi's thoughts, Deepa said, "You might be wondering why I'm behaving like this. But trust me, once you get to know the Suryavanshi family specially Rudransh you'll understand my happiness for your marriage. He is called as ruthless and devil in the business world but every one who knows him says that he has another side where only few people can see that.

Aditi smiled back, appreciating her friend's unwavering support. Deepa had always been there for her in her good and bad times supporting her encouraging her. After her brother Deepa is the only person who loved her without any second thought.Deepa was very happy for her friend and hugged her emotionally.

Breaking our private moment, Dadi entered my room with urgency, her eyes sparkling with hopefulness. "The groom's family has arrived, Aditi," she said. She took my hand and led me out of my room, and my heart raced with both anxiety and excitement.

As we stepped into the living room, a sudden hush fell over the crowd, and the silence devoleped my nervousness. I could feel beads of perspiration forming on my forehead, trickling down my temples.

But then, a woman from the groom's family approached me with a warm smile. She gently placed a kala tikka behind my ear and said, "You look beautiful, beta." Those simple words, filled with affection, brought tears to my eyes. It had been so long since anyone had shown me such love and warmth, especially since my mother's passing.

I realized in that moment that this was what I had been yearning for – to be part of a family, to be called "beta" as their own with such tenderness. The gesture was like a balm to my heart, soothing the ache of loneliness that had persisted for so long.

My dadi guided me to sit on a straw mat, but just as I was about to lower myself onto it, an elder woman of around my dadi's age intervened. She insisted, "Let her sit on a chair. We believe in equality, and she is going to be the queen of the Suryavanshi family.

The sentiment struck me like a thunderbolt. I was astonished by the acceptance and respect they were showing me. I hadn't expected such a warm welcome from the groom's family. A man in the family even added, "In fact, we believe that women are superior to men."

I found myself speechless, taken aback by their progressive views and the recognition of my worth. With newfound confidence and gratitude, I complied with their wishes and took a seat on the chair, surrounded by a family that was rapidly embracing me as one of their own.

Shortly after, two young men approached me, addressing me with a word that felt so endearing, "Hello, babhi." I looked at them, touched by their warm welcome. They introduced themselves, "Babhi, we are your two devars who always spread joy wherever we go – Dhruv and Laksh."

I couldn't help but smile at their cheerful introduction. They exuded an aura of liveliness and playfulness that was contagious.

Dhruv took the initiative, saying, "Come, Babhi, I'll introduce everyone." He gestured to the gathering. "This is our Dadaji, Omkaar Suryavanshi, and his wife, our beloved Dadi, Durga Devi Suryavanshi." I respectfully bent to seek their blessings.

He continued, "Next, we have our father and your would-be father-in-law, Indrajith Suryavanshi, and your future mother-in-law, Gayatri Suryavanshi." I extended my hand to take their blessings.

Dhruv went on, "Then we have our lovable cachu, Maanav Suryavanshi, and our cute cachi, Radhika Suryavanshi." I sought their blessings as well.

Next in line, "This is Aarav Bhaiyya and our Vaishali Babhi." I was about to seek their blessings, but Vaishali Babhi stopped me and instead embraced me in a warm hug.

Dhruv saved the cutest introductions for last, "And last but not least, our chote Rajkumar, and the apple of our eyes, Ayyansh Rudra Suryavanshi." I smiled at the adorable baby who was peacefully sleeping in his baby bouncer. I couldn't resist the urge to gently touch his soft cheek. The moment I laid eyes on him, I felt an instant and profound connection, as if a new chapter of my life was unfolding before me.
