In the tranquil morning, my mother's words resonated in my ears, "Rudra, Dhruv, and Laksh are going to Aditi's village to bring her luggage. You should go with them." I questioned, "Why should I go, Mom?" She replied, "Rudra, they haven't met you till today, and you have to go there and meet Aditi before the marriage. They will be coming here tomorrow, and with all the wedding ceremonies starting tomorrow evening, they'll be busy. So, go along with Dhruv and Laksh; it's just a one-hour journey, beta." I reluctantly nodded in agreement, feeling like I had no other choice.

We embarked on our journey to Aditi's village, with Dhruv, Laksh, me, and Aarav, the weight of the impending meeting with Aditi weighing on my mind. I didn't know what to say to her, so I closed my eyes, lost in my thoughts and anxieties about the approaching encounter.

As I closed my eyes, attempting to find solace in my thoughts during the journey, I inadvertently overheard Laksh's voice breaking through the silence. "Dhruv, Aarav bhaiyya," he said with a tone of amusement, "this is the first time I'm seeing Rudra bhaiyya so tense, especially to talk to a girl who is as sweet as Aditi bhabhi.

Startled, I opened my eyes, my gaze fixing on Dhruv and Aarav, who were sharing a hearty laugh at my expense. I couldn't help but let out a sigh, knowing that there was no escaping from them. With a mix of anxiety and amusement, I finally surrendered to the situation and leaned back, deciding to rest and conserve my energy for what lay ahead.

As I meticulously packing my bags, the weight of the impending journey to my new life settled upon me. Deepa, my best friend, was there to assist me in this emotional task. Just as we were engrossed in packing, my dadi entered the room, She said hurriedly said, "Aditi, get ready neatly. Your dadaji just received a call from Omkar Ji that even Rudransh Ji is coming along with his brothers.

I was taken aback, my heart skipping a beat at the unexpected news. Listening to my dadi's words, I nodded in agreement, my mind racing with a mix of excitement and nervousness. I glanced at Deepa, who appeared to be floating in a fan-girl moment, completely enamored by the thought of Rudransh's ji arrival. With a playful smack on her head, I reminded her, "Deepa, help me first; you can be in your fan-girl moment later. I'm feeling so nervous about meeting him, in fact, seeing him for the first time.

Deepa, being her vivacious self, promptly handed me a striking red Anarkali suit, exclaiming, "Wear this, Adi. You'll look sexy in this color!" I playfully slapped her shoulder, appreciating her attempt to lift my spirits.

Once I got ready in the captivating attire, we continued our packing. Amidst the busyness of preparations, an unexpected visitor entered my room. Chanchal, whom I rarely saw in my room, got ready elegantly with lots of make up sat gracefully on my bed. Deepa and me shared a bewildered look but remained silent, both deeply engrossed in our respective tasks.

Deepa came inside, her eyes gleaming with excitement. She couldn't contain her admiration as she whispered, "Yaar, he is looking so handsome. His photographs don't do any justice to his direct physical appearance. And he's wearing white - he's looking damn hot."

I couldn't help but smile at Deepa's enthusiastic description, her words only fueling my anticipation and eagerness to meet the person she was raving about. The moments that lay ahead were filled with intrigue and hope, and I couldn't wait for dadi's signal to finally step outside and see for myself.

In the dimly lit room, Chanchal sat in contemplative silence, her thoughts a whirlwind of discontent and frustration. With a vehement tone, she couldn't help but shout at her mother, "Ma, see him! He is so handsome and rich. Why didn't they fix this marriage for me? You told me he wouldn't be good looking, as he but look at him.

Chandini, her mother, shared Chanchal's disbelief but realized it was too late for regrets. "If I knew before by hook or crook, I would have canceled this wedding and would have fixed it for you. But what can we do now?" she said.

Chanchal, driven by her own desires and ambitions, whispered determinedly, "You don't do anything. Let me handle this. Today, they will cancel the wedding right here and now with aditi and we can ask for my hand.

Chandini, concerned but, inquired, "What are you planning, Chanchal? Be careful.

Chanchal reassured her mother, "Don't worry, Ma. I'll manage." With a resolute glint in her eye, Chanchal had a plan in motion, and her determination to change the course of events was unwavering.
