Rudransh
As we settled into the car, I turned to Dhruv and suggested, "Let's head to the temple." With that, I closed my eyes to find some inner calm. Dhruv, Laksh, and Aarav were silent till we reached the temple . After a while, Dhruv stopped the car and informed us, "We've reached the temple." We entered, and the priest recognized us, leading us inside for darshan.
Sitting in the temple's peaceful atmosphere, I felt a sense of relief wash over me. That's when Aarav inquired, "Bhaiyya, what happened upstairs? Did you go to talk to Babhi? She seemed upset when she came down, and you looked angry.
Laksh chimed in, "Bhaiyya, did you say anything to Babhi? I went to speak with her room, and she was crying, hugging her friend I came away immediately from there, I locked eyes with him and asked, "She cried?" He nodded affirmatively, igniting my anger at the thought of her tears because of that woman.
Aarav pressed for details, and I proceeded to explain everything that had transpired upstairs and narrated the entire conversation I'd had with Parth.Dhruv and Laksh reacted immediately. Dhruv exclaimed, "How dare she speak to Babhi like that! You should have put her in her place right away."
Laksh added, "And how could she refer to babhi as servant of our family? You should have reminded her that Aditi Babhi is destined to be the queen of the Suryavanshi family and your wife.
I couldn't help but smile as I observed my brothers' immediate reactions. Among the four of us, Dhruv and Laksh were the quick responders, while Aarav and I tended to take more measured actions. However, Dhruv and Laksh's impulsiveness often led them to hasty decisions.
I remained silent during that moment because I realized that in just 4 more days, she would become a part of our family through marriage. It's not that I didn't feel anger; in fact, I was probably angrier than any of you could imagine. However, I managed to keep it in check, and my restraint was solely for the sake of Aditi. They nodded in agreement. Later I got up, and together, we began our journey back to the Verma house.
Aditi
Deepa and I entered our room, and she hugged me, which brought tears to my eyes, although I had been holding them back until now. I told her to let it go and said, "Come on Deepa , let's start packing." It wasn't the first time something like this had happened to me but I felt humiliated that it occurred in front of Rudransh Ji. So just forget saying I smiled at her and started packing after few seconds she joined me
Chanchal came into my room and offered help, which was unusual. I declined her offer, and she decided to sit there in case I needed assistance. Deepa and I exchanged puzzled glances at her behavior. Suddenly, she pointed out that there were supposed to be six designer bags and five watches, but we had only two bags and one watch. It was then Deepa and I realized that items were missing.
Deepa suggested I should check my jewelry as that bag was open too and as I did, I discovered that two sets were missing - a diamond set and a gold set. I was shocked and anxious, beads of sweat forming on my forehead. Chanchal began to shout and panic, scolding me for being so careless and irresponsible, claiming that I had lost the precious gifts given to me by blessings.
With Chanchal's loud outburst, everyone gathered in my room, including Dadaji and Bade Papa, who started scolding me as well. Panic began to overwhelm me. Parth bhaiyya tried to calm them down, but they wouldn't listen. Bade Ma worried about the expense of replacing the lost items, and the fear that the wedding might be canceled loomed.
Dadiji intervened, asking me where I had kept everything. I explained that I had placed them carefully inside the bag and zipped it and I said if you want you can ask chanchal dadaji she was here when I packed everything and I said someone might have entered my room when I was upstairs. Chanchal shouted saying you are accusing me of implying robbery and on our family which only added to the chaos.
"She is calling us robbers," papaji, sasuma and Nilesh ji you are listening to her know said Badi Ma. She said "You're accusing your own family of being robbers?, I quickly clarified, "No, Badi Ma. I didn't say that I just said I packed everything neatly when I went upstairs. Now it's missing. I'm just saying that Chanchal saw me pack everything, and didn't miss anything wantedly.
Badi Ma was angry and shouted at me saying "So, you're implying that my daughter took your jewelry?" Bade papa added, "Look at her audacity, blaming my daughter. You're about to get married into a wealthy family and you're already showing your true colors, backstabbing your own family who has supported you since your parents passed away. Who are going to pay back them are you going to take responsibility, they will say us not you our name will spoil, badi ma said now how will we get good matches for chanchal, what happens to our respect dignity and image of our family in the society.
Desperate to defuse the situation, I said, "I'm not accusing anyone. I'll talk to Rudransh Ji, apologize, and touch everyone's feet in his family. I didn't accuse anyone of dadaji at least you believe me. However, Chanchal unexpectedly approached me and slapped me hard. Parth Bhaiyya intervened, exclaiming, "Are you mad, Chanchal! Have you lost her mind. Why are you all creating a scene over materialistic things? I will speak to Rudransh ji if needed, see Aditi she is having a panic attack i request you all please stop shouting.
Dadaji intervened, declaring, "Enough, everyone!" He looked at me and said, "Aditi, you've proven today that we've been harboring a snake in the house." I couldn't hold back tears and pleaded with Dadaji, "I didn't say anything to anyone. I'm sorry. I feel terrible for my words or if you all felt bad saying I fell on his feet.
Dadiji then accused me as well, stating, "So, now we're all robbers to you? Want to check your mother's jewelry too?" She retrieved my mother's jewelry and tossed it at my face, challenging me to check if anything was missing.I was crying miserably.
As tensions escalated, there was a loud voice calling my name from the room's entrance. I turned to see Rudransh Ji standing there with his brothers, his anger evident.
I rushed toward him, blurting out hurriedly, "I wasn't careless with the things your family gave me with the blessings. I kept everything here and packed it, but I don't know how it's not here now. I'm sorry, I'll do anything to repay the whole amount. Chanchal said you will repay how you will do it you know those all cost approximately at least some lakhs, I was shocked knowing the amount but I requested Rudransh ji Please don't say anything to my family. It's my mistake. If you want, you can cancel the wedding. I'll repay by being your servant lifelong, and I'll ask for forgiveness from your entire family." With that, I fell at his feet.
Badi Ma dismissed my plea, declaring, "Stop your acting. Even they have seen your true colors." She then pulled my hair, and Parth Bhaiyya intervened, saying, "Ma, leave her. Why won't you people listen to her?"
Rudransh Ji, in frustration, shouted, "Leave her!" Suddenly, I started feeling black spots and became weak with a panic attack, eventually losing consciousness.
