Aditi POV
I woke up feeling worried this morning because I have to attend a business party today. As the day went on, time seemed to slip away faster than I realized, and suddenly it was 4 in the evening. Ansh told me he'd come to pick me up at 7, but I still hadn't figured out what to wear. Lost in thought, I heard a knock on the door. When I opened it, there stood Vaishali, my sister-in-law. Surprised to see her, I wondered and said "Didi, why did you knock? You could have just come in," I exclaimed to Vaishali didi, slightly puzzled by her action.
Vaishali entered the room with a smile and immediately burst into laughter upon seeing the scattered sarees on the bed and Aayansh sitting in the middle, observing his mother's amusing chaos. Her laughter echoed in the room as she settled down on the bed, gently pulling Aayansh into her lap. Teasingly, she asked Aayansh, "What happened to your mamma, Aayansh?" Aayansh giggled in response, as if playfully replying to Vaishali's question with his laughter.
"Didi!" exclaimed Aditi, pouting, "Kya didi, what's all this?" she asked Vaishali, her confusion evident in her expression.
Actually, Didi, Rudra said there is a business party this evening and he'd pick me up at 7. I've never been to any parties before, and this is a business party. I'm so confused about what to wear. I don't want to embarrass Rudra. I know I don't belong to this as him, but I really want to try my best to make him proud," Aditi explained to Vaishali, expressing her worries about the upcoming event and her lack of experience, yet determined to make a positive impression for Rudra's sake.
Who said you don't fit in, Aditi?" Vaishali reassured her don't think like that. Nowadays, business parties are no big deal. Come on, let's pick a lovely saree for you." Aditi smiled and held up a saree, she asked, "Didi, how is this one?" Vaishali admired it and exclaimed, "Wow, Aditi, see, you have a great taste! You've unnecessarily burdened yourself with these thoughts. Look, it's already 5:30. Get ready quickly; Rudra Bhaiyya can be here any minute. He's always punctual." Vaishali encouraged Aditi to dismiss her worries.
Aditi stepped away to get ready she chose a stunning black saree adorned with delicate golden prints. Complementing the saree, she opted for a sleeveless blouse that added an elegant touch to her attire. To accessorize, she selected a pair of earrings that subtly glimmered and a dainty choker that added a hint of sophistication to her neckline.
With her hair left gracefully loose, adding a touch of finesse to her appearance. Aditi's careful selection of attire and accessories highlighted her natural grace and style, giving her an air of confidence as she prepared to attend the business party.
Aditi stole one last glance at herself in the mirror, satisfied with her appearance. As she turned, she noticed their bedroom door slightly ajar. To her surprise, Rudra stood at the entrance, momentarily struck silent by the sight of his stunning wife. Approaching her, he couldn't help but express his admiration, "Sweetheart, you look incredibly beautiful today. Innocently, Aditi gazed at him and replied, "Does that mean I don't look good every day?" Rudra shook his head and reassured her, "No, you look beautiful every day. But today, you look absolutely stunning." His compliment made her blush. Both were dressed in black, coincidentally twinning that evening. Rudra tenderly caressed her cheek, looking at her with intense adoration.
Adti, lost in the moment, suddenly remembered the time and asked, "Ansh, aren't we getting late?" Rudra sighed, checked the time, and regretfully confirmed, "Unfortunately, yes." Carrying Aayansh in his arms, they descended downstairs.
