As we arrived at Aditi's home, I was welcomed warmly by her dadaji, bade papa, and her brother. The traditional essence of their family was immediately evident. Later, her dadiji, badi ma, and her sister introduced themselves, and I was about to seek their blessings, but they stopped me, insisting that I was their son-in-law.

During our brief 15-minute interaction, it became clear that this family adhered to orthodox traditions, even in the modern generation. I noticed Aditi's brothers heading into a room, which I presumed to be Aditi's. After a brief meeting, they returned.

I patiently waited for Aditi's arrival, but she didn't come out. Her brother quietly informed me that our grandmother had ordered her to stay inside until they called for her. I was genuinely surprised by the depth of their customs and traditions. I shared a smile with him and couldn't help but notice a curious girl who had briefly looked at me before hurrying back into the room.

After a few minutes, dadi called me to come out. I quickly checked myself in the mirror and made my way to the living room. There, I saw Druv, Laksh, Aarav bhaiyya, and Rudransh ji engaged in a conversation with dadaji, bade papa, and Parth bhaiyya.

With folded hands, I greeted everyone in the room. I couldn't help but admire Rudransh ji; he had a captivating presence. His son Aayansh bore a striking resemblance to him.

Laksh bhaiyya called me over and introduced me as "bhabhi." He led me to Rudransh ji, who rose to his feet as I approached. Laksh bhaiyya said, "Babhi, this is Rudra bhaiyya, and bhaiyya, meet Aditi bhabhi." The introductions were warm, and I couldn't help but smile.

I stood beside Deepa, who appeared captivated by Rudransh ji. Then, I overheard Rudransh ji asking dadaji if he could speak to me for a minute. My heart raced at the sound of my name. However, dadaji indicated that our customs prohibited girls from talking to boys before marriage.

Parth bhaiyya, ever supportive, intervened, "Dadaji, they're going to get married anyway; let them talk." He wasted no time and didn't give any chance to dadaji or bade papa to intervene taking away Rudransh ji to the terrace.

Parth bhaiyya gestured for me to join them on the terrace, but I hesitated, fearing seeing the disapproval looks of dadaji and bade papa. I said, "Bhaiyya, Dadaji and bade papa didn't like it. They will scold me, parth bhaiyya said when they don't do it Aditi.

He reassured me saying, "It's your right to talk to Rudransh ji before marriage. What about him? Looks like he even wants to talk to you, think about him I nodded hesitatingly in agreement. Deepa chimed in, and said think about you for once selfishly adi saying they stayed behind on the terrace at a safe distance as I ventured forth to have that much-anticipated conversation with Rudransh ji.

I stood next to Rudransh ji, both of us were unsure of what to say. An awkward silence hung between us as he continued to gaze at me, making me all nervous

Finally, he asked if I had finished packing or not. I hesitantly shook my head, indicating that I hadn't done. Rudransh ji reassured me saying, "No problem, take your time."

Then, he called me and I looked at him and his eyes locked on me, i immediately looked down unable to look at him he said "Aditi, I want you to know that I'm entering into this marriage for the sake of my son and my family. I hope you understand.

I nodded in yes although I didn't fully understand why did he say this, but I shrugged it off.

After a brief pause, he inquired if I had any questions for him. Again, I shook my head in no. I saw he turned to leave, I suddenly stopped him, suniye ek minute he turned back and said ji, I gestured to Deepa to come who was with Parth bhaiyya in another side of the terrace and I introduced Deepa to Rudransh ji, saying, You already know Parth bhaiyya. She's Deepa, my best friend, and even she lives in Jaipur. Deepa, however, interrupted me mid-sentence, extending her hand toward Rudransh ji, and enthusiastically said, "Hello, sir as Adi mentioned, we've been best friends since childhood, and I'm a huge fan of yours. I follow all your articles and business interviews. Deepa went on talking to Rundransh ji later she shared her dream of working in Suryavanshi Group of Industries. Rudransh ji said why dont you send your application Deepa I'll talk to HR, Deepa politely declined, explaining that sir iam currently working in a start-up which I got placed by campus placement nd iam working there to gain experience before applying to your company and I'll get through the interview on my own sir but thank you for asking means a lot me,

Parth bhaiyya playfully chimed in, saying, "Rudransh ji, you have to see her room in Jaipur; it's filled with your posters." Deepa lightly slapped my bhaiyya on his hand, saying, "Till now, it was 'sir's' pictures, but now I'll have Adi and 'sir' photos together." Her enthusiasm brought a smile to our faces.

Rudransh ji, suggested parth bhaiyya and Deepa to call him by his name, saying that Parth addressing him as "Rudransh ji" and Deepa as "sir" felt strange. Deepa responded, "No, sir, I can't call you by your name." She thought for a moment and declared, "I'll call you 'jiju.' Now that you're going to be Adi's husband, I have the right to call you 'jiju.'" I blushed at her words, feeling a mixture of shyness and amusement.

Badi ma suddenly appeared on the terrace as she couldn't see Rudransh ji and Parth bhaiyya they were behind the wall, She looked at me and scolded, "Oh Maharani, who will do your packing? You've scattered everything in your room and are chilling out here. The snacks you prepared aren't tasty at all. Just because you're marrying into a rich family that doesn't mean you're a maharani, You're just going to be a servant and nanny there, so stop showing your attitude. Come down, and after the guests leave, prepare dinner. Chanchal didn't eat her lunch properly, so ask her what will she eat for dinner and prepare it accordingly and get these clothes bring them down and come from the back door no need to show off in front of everyone. Saying that she went away down.

I felt deeply humiliated, even though it was a common occurrence in our household. Parth bhaiyya and Deepa were aware of this, but I couldn't help feeling ashamed and embarrassed, especially in front of Rudransh ji.

Deepa, in her frustration, muttered chudail and about to bad mouth badi ma and I quickly took her hand to stop her. With folded hands, I turned to Rudransh ji and said, "I'll take care of the remaining packing." As I moved towards the clothes, Parth bhaiyya stepped in and said, "Aditi, you go. I'll handle it." I hesitated, but he reassured me, "It's okay."

Then, he turned to Deepa and instructed, "Both of you go and finish remaining packing." I nodded, and we both left the terrace. I didn't dare to look back at Rudransh ji, feeling a mix of embarrassment and discomfort.
