Athena approached an alleyway looking down it suspiciously. This is where Dr.Connors said to meet him.
"Dr.Connors" She called out nervously.
Not only was he acting sketchy but this meet up place was even more sketchy. She literally had to sneak out considering MJ was sleeping in her bed.
"Dr—"
"Athena" His voice echoed as he appeared from the darkness.
She flinched clutching onto her chest. "You scared me" she exhaled calming her breathing.
His shadow moved closer and he was sort of limping. Athena's face twisted knowing something wasn't right. Before she could see him fully he stopped over a manhole struggling to slide the lid to the side.
"What're you doing?" Athena asked confused.
He ignored the girl lowering himself into the meanhole. Athena's face twisted realizing he wanted her to follow.
