ATHENA was nervous to say the least. She wasn't sure if Peter even wanted her to come over for dinner. Maybe he just felt bad and didn't want to hurt her feelings.
She always met one her friends parents / guardians but this seemed different. She wouldn't even count Peter as a friend. They barely knew each other. She'd count him much more as an acquaintance. Of course she'd known him since they were young but they never spoke to each other.
They grew up going to the same middle school as each other and somehow ended up in the same exact high school. They had mutual friends such as Harry Osborn but never nothing more. Athena only knew of Peter because in her middle school romance with Harry he'd talk about him. He never got the chance for the two to officially meet before he was sent off without any warning.
It was middle school so Athena didn't like to count Harry as one of her boyfriends. Besides it was a horrible relationship. Athena wasn't even sure if Peter had even remembered her past with his best friend.
She stood in front of peters door building up the courage to knock on it. MJ let her borrow some clothes to wear but only if athena allowed her to be her personal stylist for the night.
