ATHENA watched the clock impatiently. Her knee was bouncing up and down eager to get out of her seat and see Peter. Five more minutes. Five more minutes and she could flee the classroom. Gwen narrowed her eyes at her sister noticing her leg.
"You okay?" Gwen whispered concerned.
Athena stared straight ahead nodding. "Wanna see Peter" Athena's voice was calm but internally she was panicking.
Dr.Connors had texted her a cryptic message.
All is well Athena. Focus on your school work. I might need you tonight. I'll call later.
She had a bad feeling about all of this. She wanted to tell Peter. She wanted to tell Gwen and MJ but she'd promised Dr.Connors she wouldn't tell anyone.
If she broke his trust he'd never speak to her again. He could say anything to anyone and ruin her chances of getting into a good college.
