ATHENA knew sleep overs at Peter were happening too often. She didn't know how else to explain other than she was comforting him. She adored Peter, seeing him like this after his uncle hurt her. She was never one to care about a lot of people. The only person she truly cared about was Gwen and MJ. Her father, Mother, or siblings hadn't earned the right. They didn't care for her so why should she care for them.
Athena had promised Peter she'd sleep over his house so she needed to stop home to pick up some clothes. Gwen was the first to walk into the house announcing they were home. She was immediately greeted by their mother hugging the girl.
She pulled away smiling at Athena before turning around and walking away. Athena was use to her mothers cold expressions towards her. Athena ignored her mother walking into her room without another word. She grabbed a bag stuffing clothes and her essentials into it.
Athena stopped hearing a knock on the door. She walked towards it opening it assuming it was Gwen or one of her brothers asking to borrow something. She stepped back a bit in surprise seeing her father.
