The conversation carried on, unraveling a mix of bitter and sweet moments, with all the secrets laid bare.

Azlan wasn't much of a talker, but he soon realized that Haya was quite the opposite. He definitely wasn't prepared for this marriage, but now that they're married, he's determined to give it his all and make it work. He doesn't want to project his disappointment onto Haya because it's not her fault that his mother forced this relationship upon him.

Although his mother's intentions are pure in finding him a suitable partner, it's important for her to realize that what may be considered good by one person may not necessarily be universally accepted as such.

It was his mom's decision to marry him off to Haya, but accepting her was his choice. Now, they both have the responsibility to keep their marriage going.

Azlan Khan, a man true to his word, never shies away from the promises he makes. He expects nothing less from his partner, ensuring a solid and captivating bond in their marriage.

"Haya, main apse kuch kehna chahta hon, kahon?" Azlan's voice filled with tenderness as he reached out to grasp Haya's delicate hands. What an adorable move!

"Kahe! Hum sun rahe hai," she replied in a soft voice, meeting his hesitant gaze with her own.

Azlan's voice resonated with unwavering determination as he spoke, "Apse mohabbat karna mere bas mein nahi, par haan, apki izzat karna, apko is rishtey mein barabar ka haq dena mere bas mein hai. Aur main poori koshish karunga ki main apne is vaade ko pura kar sakoon." Haya could feel his determination in every word he uttered.

"Main yaqeen karlo apka phir?" She asked mischievously, her tone laced with uncertainty. Azlan understood her hesitation.

"Karke dekhle! Azlan Khan apne vaade se nahi mukharta." The swift reply may have been brief, but it undeniably instilled in Haya the confidence to place her trust in him.

"Bas main apko kuch baatein pehle se hi batana chahta hon." When he spoke, his tone got serious, and Haya's mind started wandering into imaginative thoughts."

For sure! Having a wild imagination and endless possibilities can be quite the thrilling mix.

"Haya's eyes nearly popped out of her head as she exclaimed, 'You're not secretly married, are you?' Azlan couldn't believe the accusation! His eyes widened in horror as Haya questioned him with a shocked face. It was a completely unexpected allegation that caught him off guard."

"What! Ofcourse not." He replied instantly. "Shukr Allah!" She exclaimed.

"Pagal hai ap, I hope apko pata hai?" Azlan said, trying to hide his smile. "Did you just call me mental? She sat straight, hearing him.

"Meri majhal ke apko aisa kuch kahunga? Aap toh bas pyaari hai!" He smartly changed his sentence, making her blush furiously.

"Waise ap par surkh rang acha lagta hai." He said, as he gazed at her rosy cheeks, and she thought he was complimenting the color of her dress.

"Ap kuch kehna chahte the?" After a moment of silence, she inquired about what he had wanted to tell her.

"Haya, mujhe kya acha lagta hai yeh apko pata na bhi ho toh koi farq nahi padega, lekin mujhe kya na-pasand hai, main chahta hon apko pata ho." He spoke, and a silence filled the space between them, lingering before he carried on.

"Jaise mujhe yeh pata hona zaruri hai ke apke liye kounsi cheez na-pasand hai, taakey main khayal rakho is baat ka." He paused, his gaze fixed on her, a reassuring smile gracing his lips.

"Kya cheez na gawar hai apko?" She questioned, her eyes radiating innocence as she asked him.

"Mujhe jhoot aur bewafai se sab se zaida nafrat hai." He stated.

"Main har badi galti bardash kar sakta hon. Par jhooth aur bewafai mujhe bardasht nahi," he took a deep breath, pausing for a moment, before he resumed speaking. "Mujhe milawati cheezon aur rishton, dono se sakht nafrat hai." He spoke with a resolute and serious tone, never wavering in his delivery.

She listened attentively until he asked her about her biggest pet peeve.

"Ab apki bari." He replied with a playful tone, effortlessly bringing the atmosphere back to its usual lightness.

"Humein? She posed a question, and he affirmed it with a simple nod. "Humein hamare character ke barein mein koi kuch bole bardasht nahi"

"Fair enough," he responded, and she fought off a yawn, determined to stay focused on his conversation.

"Let's sleep, you look exhausted," Azlan said, making some space for her to rest. But he paused when he looked at her, dressed from head to toe in that heavy attire.

"I think you should change first," he suggested, getting up to switch his own clothing, which he found uncomfortable.

Haya got up and moved to the dressing table. As she looked at her reflection, a beautiful smile appeared on her face, recalling his compliment.

Removing her jewelry one by one, she started taking out the pins that were stuck in her hair, causing her to yelp with each tug.

She spent a good fifteen minutes attempting to take out the pins, but couldn't manage it. Meanwhile, Azlan changed into a cozy night dress and opened the door.

He was shocked to see her still struggling with her hair. After watching her for a moment, he realized she needed help. He walked over and asked, "Can I lend you a hand?"

"Uh, okay!" she said, her voice filled with hesitation.

With gentle precision, he removed each pin, a smile gracing his lips once he finished. As he admired her reflection in the mirror, he spoke, his voice filled with warmth, "Aap khole baalon mein aur pyaari lagti hai."

"Apko maine kaha? She inquired. "Kya?" He asked. "Ke ap apne lafzon aur shaksiyat, dono se khubsurat hai." She replied, her compliment left him speechless, as if his breath had been stolen away by her words.

"Aur?" he couldn't help but ask, seeking her confirmation. "Aur ke ap qubool hai mujhe," she affirmed, gazing into his eyes through his reflection.

"Qubool hai," he whispered, his eyes locked with hers in the mirror, accepting her wholeheartedly.
