The rain drummed against the windows, revealing the turbulent storm beyond the car's glass. The couple remained in a tense silence, the man grumbling once again about the relentless weather.

With a screech of tires, the car came to a sudden halt, causing the girl's head to collide with the dashboard, eliciting a sharp yelp from her. This incident made the man groan in frustration.

"Are you a child? Can't you even buckle up?" The boss grumbled, inspecting her for any harm. Finding none, he let out a grumpy sigh and turned away, prompting the employee to make a face at her boss's demeanor.

"Khadus admi!!" She grimaced, scolding him silently in her mind.

"The car isn't starting, I think the engine's overheated. Lemme check, and you, stay put inside, got it?" The man in the black formal suit instructed his employee before stepping out of the car to diagnose the issue.

The girl wrapped in the white snowy dress from top to bottom made a face and mimicked him.

She's such a brat! I tell you.

He lifted the car's bonnet and examined the engine, noticing it wasn't excessively hot to cause the car to stop suddenly. Then, his attention shifted to the fuel tank, a tank he had already ensured was filled to the brim.

As he pondered the situation, he recalled the recent cold weather and wondered if the drop in temperature might have affected the car's performance. With a furrowed brow, he began to consider other possible causes for the unexpected issue.

He came up to her window and said, "I think there's a mechanical problem; we need to find a mechanic."

"Ohh! You don't know how to fix it?" She questioned, tilting her head to the side to get a better view of him.

"I ain't no mechanic, you know?" He grumbled irritably.

"He only has one mood, and that's annoyance. I mean, Allah has given him such beautiful features, what will happen if he smiles a bit? But of course, Inaya, don't be silly, this isn't any situation to smile," Inaya scolded herself, nodding at his grumble.

"Let me check for any nearby mechanical shops," she said, swiftly pulling out her phone to search for one.

"There's one, but it's 12 kms away from here, and there's no service available for the passerby. We actually have to go there to solve the car's problem," Inaya blinked her eyes, looking around the creepy land.

"There seems to be a village nearby. We can ask for help from them for any transport or a place to stay until my man comes with a transport," the man said, pushing his hair back.
