"God help me." I murmured under my breath.

He led me to my chamber or I should say our chamber. Yes ought to share room with him.

"Are you avoiding the most handsome privateer in the world?" he said.

Saints, he is so self obsessed!

"What do you want?" I asked not interested in beating around the bush.

"Are we any close?" he asked.

"Honestly, it's hard to tell." I answered honestly.

"Now, can you please tell me how did you know I am not who I claim to be? Who told you? It can't be my crew, I trust them." he asked being visibly threatened. I ought to admit it's hard to see him this way, so I decided to answer him.

"Let me speak Nik. So firstly no one betrayed you so its wasn't someone who told me. I gotta know it myself it wasn't so hard to connect the dots." I answered back.

"How?" it was all he said maintaining eye contact with me.

"So you see Nikolai Lantsov was supposed to be in Ketterdam studying but according to my network he vanished within a week, around same time Sturmhond was born. Moreover you Sturmhond speak Ravakan like a noble man and somehow was contact with the throne, and I have noticed whenever at the dock people badmouthed the king so seem to defend him like you know him. And to add you are very well dressed for a newbie so I just took an educated guess it was you." I said clear proud of myself.

He breath out in relieve. It suddenly hit me why did I told him? Was it because the look on his face.

"You are not as good actor as you think you are. But don't worry not everyone is quite observant like me. So now we are done let me sleep." I said clearly no more interested in the conversation.

"Good night" he said like a perfect gentleman.

I smiled to myself and soon drifted to sleep, knowing tomorrow I am going to clear my doubts and it might be the best or the worst day of my life.
