Kylie woke up to find Wu and Nya talking in the kitchen.

"But why would they just... disappear?" Nya was saying. "Not a note or anything."

"I don't know, but Garmadon is with them, and I am sure he knows what he is doing."

"What? What happened?" Kylie asked.

"They're gone!" Nya exclaimed. "They disappeared!"

"Who?" Kylie asked, concerned.

"The Four, and Garmadon." Wu replied.

"Maybe they went... fishing, or something," Nya said in a worried voice. "Or an early morning walk. A... very long walk?" she suggested nervously.

"They'll turn up eventually. It's probably a prank or something," Kylie said.

"I'm calling Kai." Nya dialed and put the phone on speaker.

Ring, ring, ring. Ring, ring, ring.

"Ugh, he's not answering!" She slammed the phone on the table. "What if something bad happened? What if they got hurt or captured?"

"Hmm," Wu stroked his beard.

"Try calling someone else," Kylie offered.

"Ok. Calling Jay."

Ring, ring, ring. Ring, ring, ring.

"Oh gosh..." She rested her forehead on her hand.

"It'll be ok," Kylie put a hand on her shoulder. "Leave them a text."

"Ok..." Nya typed something and hit send.

"Nya, do not worry," Wu said. "They are ninja, with a wise leader who will not let them come to harm. They are fine, I promise you."

She nodded.

They ate breakfast (mostly Wu did), and after that, Nya asked Kylie to help her work on the Bounty. They worked the whole morning and after lunch, but still heard nothing from the ninja. The Bounty was going to take too long, so they decided to finish up one of her other projects.

"Good thing I made a mobile base in case the Destiny's Bounty was ever out of commission," Nya told her. "I call it the D.B. Express! Not married to the name, though. Once we get the it working, I can search around for them."

The next day, they still hadn't heard anything, but the D.B. Express was finally ready. As they turned on the vehicle, there was a beeping and a beacon seen on the map on the screen.

"What's that?" Kylie asked.

"Let's see." Nya said, and pushed some buttons. "Oh, it's the falcon."

"And what's that?"

"He's Zane's robot bird. If anyone could find Zane's location, it would be him. Looks like he's in the Sea of Sand. Let's go!"

They drove across Ninjago for over half an hour. Finally they reached the desert.

"Should be around here somewhere," Nya said. "Keep your eyes open."

Kylie looked around the sky with binoculars. "There he is!" They both watched as the falcon flew towards them and perched on top of the roof of the car.

"Why did you call us here?" Nya wondered out loud. The falcon cawed as if in reply.

A new notification showed on the map. It was from the falcon. "It's Zane's beacon... coming from somewhere off the coast. But that's impossible." she stared in disbelief.

"Guess not," Kylie shrugged, grinning. "You think that's where the others are, too?"

"Most likely, yes." Nya pushed a few more buttons. "Sensei Wu, come in. This is Nya, do you read? I think I may have found the ninja!"
