The days after their day spent together, Alexia had fallen back into her busy schedule. She needed to present the trophy at Camp Nou, had photoshoots to do and then also a lot of interviews together with focussing on her ACL recovery. This all just meant that Thalia was alone at home at almost all times, the athlete only being home during the nights since Thalia was already asleep most times that Alexia came home after a busy day and the blonde was still asleep when the athlete's alarm went off in the morning.
Thalia in the meantime spent a lot of her time to work on the new beach house, painting and decorating it while the others had already done all of the other work. They were close to finishing the house now and the remaining stuff from their current house had to be brought to the new house, since it was a beach house, this gave Thalia the opportunity to go on slow runs and walks along the beach with Nala, the small dog absolutely enjoying the beach.
In the meantime Thalia spent quite some time in the evenings face-timing Margot, the two of them keeping each other up to date with their pregnancies and their lives.
Thalia was currently on a face-time with Margot in their old house, patting Nala who was on her lap, when she remembered an idea that she had been slowly working out. "Hey Marge?"
"Wassup T?"
"There is one thing that I have been thinking about ever since mom died and I did a little bit of research afterwards. There are still so, so many people spread across the entire world who die and lose family members due to cancer. There is a huge research of cancer going on here in Spain but they don't have enough donations so I have been planning to donate to the research. I was wondering if you wanted to donate to it too."
Margot smiled gently at her twin sister. The death of their mother had been haunting the both of them. "I would love to donate to the research."
Thalia smiled a big smile. She had been nervous to ask Margot while she didn't even know why she had been so nervous about it.
"How much do you plan on donating?"
Thalia thought for a second. They had been so busy with renovating the house and all of the things around it. She had been putting money aside for the research but she also had to ask Alexia's permission still since they had a joint bank account. "I still need to ask Alexia for her permission and discuss this with her but I was planning on donating a total of 10 million euros."
Margot smiled at her sister. "And all of that without public donations?"
Thalia nodded her head. "Of course. I need to think everything out still but there will hopefully be site where people can donate if they want to. I also want to raise awareness about pancreatic cancer since it is still so damn deadly."
Margot nodded her head. "Well, I am proud of you. Do you want me to help you with raising awareness?"
Thalia smiled at her sister. "How about we do this campaign together? I still need to put everything in progress."
Margot smiled. "That sounds like an awesome idea. Do you have your laptop with you?"
Thalia put Margot down on the table, gently moved Nala besides her and went to fetch her laptop, setting it on her desk which was still in the house and then went upstairs to grab her phone, sitting down behind the desk. "Alright, I'm ready to start planning."
The twins discussed and started planning for hours, Thalia forgetting her surroundings completely until an ultimately confused and tired looking Alexia entered her office, Margot was the first to see the athlete. "Oh hey Ale, how are you doing?"
Thalia turned around in surprise. "Hey love! What are you doing home already?"
Alexia raised her eyebrows as she entered the office, gently kissing the blonde's lips at which Margot made a fake gagging sound, the athlete looking at her. "Hi to you too Marge. Also, what do you mean love? It's 12 AM."
