Arjun brought Manik into his room, settled on bed, "Shh... Bas mannu.... Mei agaya na.... Shanth ho ja. Kuch nahi hua.... You are safe bacha." He consoled in slow whispers, drawing circles on his back.
Manik in fear tightened his grip, got startled as Arjun let out a painful hiss looked up in worry, "Bhaiya!"
Arjun controlled his pain, "Mei thik hu bacha.... Kuch nahi hua. Tu bata tu thik haina?" He asked in worry noticing his breathing pattern is shallow, took out inhaler n helped him to take the puffs.
Manik felt relaxed leaned on to him for comfort which Arjun was happy to provide.
Kabir n Abhi stood at the door saw them, "He is injured... Haina!" Abhi enquired as he noticed change of shirt on Arjun.
Kabir gave a nod, "Haa.... Tumsab ke Jane ke baad aur bhi log aye. Situation control me ane hi wale tey ki someone tried to attack me from back or Arjun beech mei agaye aur usse lag gai. You need to treat it Abhi." He mumbled in worry.
They both entered inside called softly, "Mannu!"
Manik looked at them who took him into their embrace to console their heart that he is fine.
Abhi ruffling his hair, "Kiddo... Chalo go n get fresh." He tried to send him away.
Manik frowned shaking head leaned on to Arjun refusing to go. Kabir gently moved him, "Pumpkin.... Hum sab haina kyu Darr rahe... Chalo ek kaam karte hai, I will come along phir fresh hone ke baad tu Arjun ke paas ajao."
Manik looked at Arjun who gave a nod as he may not control his pain anymore infront of him.
As he left the room, Abhi closed the door turned to Arjun, "Shirt utaro!"
Arjun silently removed his shirt, Abhi gasped looking at the wound as it looked deep, "Arjun... Itna bada gaav, pagal hogaya tum... Seedhe hsptl jana tha tujhe."
"Kyu... Tum ho na Mera personal doctor. Bada Dr bante ghumte ho na mere samne... Toh Karo ilaz!" He teased but Abhi could sense the pain behind his voice.
"Chup kar... Leith jao!" He snapped without any heat behind his words.
Arjun laid on bed holding pillow as Abhi inspected the injury which really looked deep took out cotton n antiseptic n gently tried to clean dried blood.
Arjun hissed as medicine burned through gripped the pillow tightly. Noticing his pain, Abhi cursed the goons, "Ek baar woh gunde mere hath lagjaye Aisa sabak sikhadunga ki...!"
Arjun saw his furious look through mirror caught his hand gave a gentle squeeze, "Sh... Calm down Abhi. I'm fine kuch nahi hua."
Abhi gave a nod started working on the injury, "Shukar hai mannu ko kuch nahi hua. Uske upar ek karoch bhi nahi aya. Aur ayega bhi kaise jab tum uske paas ho koi ustak paunch bhi nahi payega." He beamed in pride at his friend capability of protecting their kid, dressed the wound properly, "Hogai... Dinner ke baad pain killer le Lena. Philal tetanus Lena hoga... Taki infection na hojaye." He said preparing the medicine.
Arjun gave a nod, closed eyes as Abhi administered the medicine. "Rub Karo... Mei shirt nikalta hu... Kiddo atha hi hoga."
He removed a shirt n gave to Arjun helping him to wear discarded the blood soaked shirt away. At the same time Manik entered inside frowned looking the first aid kit on side table, "Kya hua?"
