The reactor created a belt of smoke around it and ushered a foul, burning odor.

"I-I can already imagine the boss yelling at me," Moj slammed his fists into the ground. "Like: MOJ, HOW DARE YOU DO THAT?"

Out of thin air, a gleaming katana materialized, its sharp blade aimed at Moj's exposed neck. "You're right, Moj," a voice declared from the shadows.

Moj slowly turned his head, his heart pounding in his chest. To his surprise, the source of the angry voice was none other than his menacing boss.

The boss's glare made Moj feel as if he were about to be cooked alive. His eyes blazed with anger and frustration, and his intimidating presence was highlighted by his traditional Japanese yukata and a smoldering cigar in his mouth.

"I can cut your head off right now," the boss drew his katana back. "But before I do, I'll have a talk with our unexpected guest."

"Mr Saitama, right?" The boss smiled at Saitama. He quickly put his katana back into its sheath. "So may I know if you had killed Magneton's disciple all by yourself?"

Saitama, his finger still lingering in his nose, replied in a broken voice. "Yeah."

Looking at Saitama's carefree behavior, the boss furrowed his eyebrow with frustration. "People like you are only disciplined through brute force."

"Okay," Saitama picked up a booger from his nose, only to launch it at the boss.

Within the blink of an eye, the boss used his katana to block the attack. The collision left a small dent in the sharpened, intimidating katana.

With an excited, cold glare, the boss mentioned, "I had forgotten the last time this katana got a scratch."

"Before we start our little battle," The boss snapped his fingers, making the fire on the reactor disappear. Immediately afterwards, a dim pattern surrounded it from all sides, a barrier to protect the machine from outer interference. "Safety of the reactor comes first."

The boss moved one of his feet back and took an attacking stance. "I hope you're ready, but even if you aren't, I DON'T CARE!"

Within a split second, he teleported before Saitama as his unsheathed katana reached closer to Saitama's neck. But suddenly, within milliseconds, Saitama moved his head forward, absolutely crushing the katana between his white teeth.

The boss's eyes widened in disbelief as he watched his trusted katana fall to pieces. His eyebrows shot up, his mouth hanging open in astonishment. He muttered in a trembling voice, "H-How... How..."

Clenching his fists, the boss shouted, "HOW DARE YOU!"

He swiftly leaped towards Saitama, his clenched fist aimed at Saitama's torso. The punch pushed Saitama back a few meters while creating intense shockwaves. The shockwaves reverberated throughout the surroundings, its effect visible on the violently shaking ground.

Immediately afterwards, the boss teleported before Saitama, launching his barrage of punches. His face became red, his entire body sweated, his exhaustion clearly visible on his lined face, and his heartbeat raced faster than a Ferarri.

However, Saitama blocked most of his punches and watched his actions with a plain look.

After a few minutes, the boss began to pant and slowly retreated. The devastating damage caused by his punches was evident, with all the debris within a meter of them obliterated.

"I-I can now understand how you defeated Kiro," The boss huffed as he wiped off sweat from his face.

He revealed a bottle filled with yellow pills from one of his yukata's pockets. "Since I'm a human, I can't use magic without artifacts, and here, in this bottle, lies one of them."

Without wasting time, he chugged all the pills into his mouth while some fell onto the ground.

In an instant, his body grew twice its size and started to radiate in yellow, magical energy. The energy was so powerful that the ground beneath the boss began to crumble while the atmospheric pressure around him intensified.

"Hahaha!" The boss laughed. "Even though I'll die after this, I'll take you with me!"

He immediately stretched his hands and snapped his fingers, making two shiny, red magical swords materialize in his hands. Within a moment, he teleported before Saitama, one of his swords aimed at his head while the other at his legs.

SWISH!

SWASH!

BOOM!

The entire area erupted in a deafening explosion, sending shockwaves in all directions. It was followed by thick clouds of smoke that engulfed the battlefield.

After what felt like an eternity, the boss cautiously emerged from the dissipating smoke, gasping for breath. As the smoke cleared, Saitama emerged from the ground with only his head visible.

"I was waiting all this time for you to unleash some heavenly attack since you are the boss," Saitama mentioned, and his voice got louder.

"But all you had been doing is shout!" Saitama yelled as his face became detailed.

He effortlessly broke free from the ground and teleported behind the boss. The boss's heartbeat grew louder, his sweat traveled upwards, and his eyes widened beyond what was humanly possible.

BWOOSH!

~DEATH!~

BSHOOM!

The boss's half-cut body fell onto the ground with a thud. Saitama's hand was stained with crimson blood as he stood barefoot on the rugged red, shattered debris, only in his underwear.

Moj, who had miraculously survived the intense battle, gazed at Saitama in a mixture of awe and shock. He had never witnessed such overwhelming power in his entire life. Inside his mind, a flood of questions swirled, unspoken yet pressing.

Saitama noticed Moj lying on the ground, his expression turning from detailed to mild surprise. He walked over to Moj and casually asked, "You survived?"

Moj tried to avert his gaze. "I-I..."

"Uff..." Moj sighed as he looked down at his broken, bleeding arm. "Can you help me stand up first?"

Saitama nodded and helped him to stand. "Thank you," Moj said gently.

Moj flashed a hopeful smile at Saitama. "I don't think that you're interested in killing me, are you?"

"Not really," Saitama walked towards the reactor and pointed at it. "What is this supposed to be?"
