One Punch Man: Saitama Retires

The Robotic Power

X001's entire body started to sweat, his heartbeat echoing through the scattered debris. "There's no way you escaped my grip! I battled Magneton once, and even he couldn't break free!"

"Magneton?" Saitama scratched his right cheek as his expressionless face delved into deep thought. After a brief pause, he exclaimed, "Hoh! That floating-head guy who made me miss the exclusive potato sale!"

Suddenly, X001 punched the ground with a force so powerful that even a building made entirely of diamonds would feel like coal in comparison. "ARE YOU JUST PLAIN DUMB, SAITAMA?"

The impact generated immense shockwaves, sending all the broken pieces of debris into the air. The air pressure in the training room tripled, shattering the unbroken blue tiles in a 100-meter radius into countless pieces.

A blanket of smoke born from the destruction covered the entire battlefield as X001 leaped towards Saitama for a surprise attack. However, Saitama was nowhere to be seen.

"Are you hiding in the smoke now?" X001 shouted as he swiftly glanced around.

"How will you see me when your punch buried me underground?" Saitama roared as he emerged from the ground near X001's position. "Now, I've got dirt in my pants."

X001 instantly leaped forward to Saitama's right, his crimson, glowing punch ready to obliterate everything in its path. "Die!"

BOOM!

Before X001's attack could reach Saitama's body, Saitama delivered a punch directly aimed at his head, enveloping X001's entire body in a red mist.

However, the punch didn't generate any shockwaves or inflict any damage on X001. It was as if the force of the punch vanished into nothingness.

"HAHAHA!" X001 materialized behind Saitama. "HOW WAS THE TASTE OF MY NULL-DAMAGE MAGIC?"

As soon as he finished speaking, spheres of magic filled with different elements like fire, water, and air formed above X001's head.

Aiming at Saitama, X001 mimicked firing a gun with his right hand. "Pew, pew."

Within the blink of an eye, all the magical spheres rushed towards Saitama at a speed far greater than that of a fully loaded machine gun.

However, before the balls of magic could begin their journey, Saitama teleported in front of X001, his clenched right fist aimed at X001's head while his left fist aimed at his torso. "Consecutive Normal Punches."

BLAST!

BOOM!

WHAM!

The entire atmosphere was enveloped in dust and smoke as Saitama stood on the shattered ground.

WHOOSH!

"As I said, your normal attacks have no effect on me," X001 cleared the surroundings using the force of his arms.

Immediately breaking the silence, X001 once again leaped towards Saitama at the speed of light, his barrage of punches ready to destroy Saitama.

WHOOP!

WHAM!

With each punch, Saitama was pushed back, the force of the strikes slowly obliterating his clothes. The attacks raised the air pressure further, melting down the debris underneath.

The crumbling tiles burst into a million pieces, further damaging the other tiles. The soil beneath the thick layer of blue debris began to emerge as the intense forces defied gravity itself.

"No matter what it takes, you'll have to die, Saitama!" X001 cried as several fireballs began to form above his head. "I'll burn you alive so that you won't be able to use any sorcery to escape death."

KABOOM!

The rising heat and air pressure in the atmosphere caused the air to become fuzzy and unclear.

"Magic? Is it fun to use?" Saitama whispered as he switched from a defensive position to an offensive position. "Well, I'd like to try it sometime."

Suddenly, X001's heart started to throb like a Lamborghini, his nerves tingling, his hair standing on end, his eyes dilating, and his body shimmering with sweat.

"Why am I feeling so scared when he can't attack me? Why do I feel like I am standing before a hungry tiger? What is happening to me?"

"Hahaha..." X001 laughed nervously. "You surely can't use magic-"

Before he could finish his sentence, he was interrupted by a low whisper. "Serious Punch."

BOOM!

X001 attempted to create a red mist to activate his magic, but the sheer force of the strike evaporated the mist along with his entire body. The destruction did not cease.

Within a one-kilometer radius, the entire section of undamaged and shattered blue tiles was obliterated, leaving only the top layer of soil visible.

As the punch was aimed at X001's head, most of the shockwaves erased the roof and the clouds above, allowing sunlight to blanket the entire battlefield. The sky transformed into a clear shade of navy blue.

Saitama looked at the devastated surroundings and exclaimed, "I hope Marcus won't mind that I destroyed his training room."

He walked a few steps and picked up a small rock from the soil. "At least the red guy didn't toss rocks around."

He quickly threw the stone at a speed far greater than that of light, creating a loud explosion in a faraway place. "Whoops!"

For a few minutes, peace and silence lingered as the now-naked Saitama walked aimlessly in search of the exit. However, a robotic voice suddenly emerged out of thin air. "You succeeded in destroying the temporary void I created with my magic, eliminating my human form. But now, I've unleashed the power of robots; not even the entire galaxy can stop me!"

Confused by the sudden disturbance, Saitama looked around. Wherever his eyes could go, there was no one in sight.

"Are my ears ringing?" Saitama pondered as he continued to glance around.

BOOM!

A colossal robot, standing at approximately five meters in height, emerged from the ground. It bore a striking resemblance to X001 in terms of body structure, and the same crimson mist cloaked its form.

"While I must say that your power is on par with Magneton, you might not survive in front of me! The Mass Destruction Robot Arplesis!"

The massive robot charged at Saitama, its colossal arms set to unleash a devastating punch capable of destroying Kerbes. His movement intensified the relaxed air pressure by tenfold, crushing the ground beneath through the immense force of the atmosphere.
