After about eight more hours of driving through the inerstate in the new car, Emmie and I decided that we should just stay in Conway, Arkansas for the night. I thought it was a good idea because I was begining to get tired of driving and Emmie was getting restless in her seat. I drove about ten more miles and saw a hotel named Hilton Inn on the left side of the road. From the looks of it on the outside, it looks like a pretty nice hotel. Its walls have a color sceme of dark brown, white and tan. The hotel doors have a large cover over it where you are able to pass your car up for the valet parking. When you look around to the back of the hotel, you see a beautiful pool, hot tube and pool bar. I got Emmie out of her car seat and she was so happy to finally be able to put her feet back on the ground. I grabbed our bags out of the trunk, and then Emmies hand and we headed into the hotel. We walked through the doors hand in hand until I didn't feel her hand in mine anymore. I look around the lobby frantically, searching for a blond haired little girl. I finally saw Emmie's little ponytail next to a man and his dog. I walked over to the little girl in a hurry while I was carring all of our bags. "Em, don't you ever leave me ever again. You could get lost next time and never see me again. You don't want that do you?" I said looking at her sad, light blue eyes. "No Ti, I sowwy. I just wanna pet the puppy." She said pointing to the huge Rottweiler. This dog was nowhere near little but I couldn't help but smile at Em's reaction to the huge dog. I finally looked up to look at the mans face when I realized it was the same guy that left me the twenty dollar tip. "Hey Louis right?" I said smilling at him. "Yea, your the girl that made me the smoothie." He said giving me a cute little smile. "Thats me, what are you doing in Conway, Arkansas?" I said with a curious face. "Oh you know business trip." He said looking down. "With a dog?" I said raising an eyebrow. "Didn't want to leave this big guy all alone at home." He said patting the dogs head. "What is the puppies name?" Em said with a friendly smile. "His name is Ajax, whats your name?" He asked bending down to her level. "Ti said I can't give my name out to strangers." She said looking up at me. "Its okay Em, you can tell him." I said putting my hand on her head. "I'm Emmie." She said with a grin on her face. "That's a beautiful name for a little girl." He said shaking her hand and giving her a wild smile. Louis stood back up and looked back at me, while Em continued playing with Ajax. "So you asked me but now I wanna know some questions. Why are you and Emmie in Arkansas." He said looking at me intently. "Because I want to start fresh." I said pushing my hair back a little. "Oh okay, and you chose Arkansas?" He said raising his eyebrow. "No, tomorrow morning after we eat breakfast, we are leaving for Denver." I said picking Em up and putting her on my hip. "Ahhh beautiful Denver, its perfect for the both of you." He said smilling. I looked down at my phone and saw that it was almost nine o'clock. "Sorry to leave you Louis but we need to get a room." I said grabbing our bags. "Here let me help." He said taking my large suitcase and Em's small one. As I walked to the desk with Emmie on my hip and pulling our large suitcase, Louis followed me with our other ones. "I'm Zoey, how can I help you?" A big boobed, blond bimbo asked me in a snooty tone. "Uhm I would like a hotel room please." I said looking at her. "There are no more, sorry." She said with a fake smile not even looking for a room. "Please, I need a room. Can you not look for one?" I said with sad eyes. "I said there are no more." She said raising her voice and glaring at me. "Give the girl a room." Louis said looking at the girl with dangerous eyes. "Okay i'll look." She said typing on the computer with a scared expression on her caked up face. "There is a room on the fifthteen floor, room 1538. Breakfast is down on the lobby dining room at eight o'clock and pool opens at ten. Do you need anything else?" She said with a scared smile. Her eyes travel to something behind me and she looked very uncomfotable. "No thank you, just the room key." I said looking at her confused. As she walked away I couldn't help but think how weird this girl was acting. She was being all rude and bitchy at first and now shes scared an uncomfortable. Was it something that Louis had said to her or was it beacause I was here. As I kept thinking about what had happened previously, the blond lady came back and handed me a brown card that had the floor and room number on the back of it. I thanked
her kindly, grabbed the bag I was carrying and walked towards the elevator with Louis and Em. Louis dog Ajax was following us without have a leash on because both of Louis hands had been filled. Once we were in the elevator, I clicked on floor fifthteen, and suddenly the elevator slowly moved up to the floor. Once we came to a complete stop, we walked out and started looking foor room 1538. It was at the end of the hall and once we got there, I put the card in the slop and pulled out gently. The door automatically unlocked and I opened the door bringing all of us in, along with the suicases. I put Em down and stared at the room in amazement. The room was one of the best rooms I have seen in ages, the room had the same colors as the outside of the building. There was furniture in the room and the bed was perfectly made. There was a large flat screen tv against the wall that was perfectly alined with the bed. On the side of the wall, they was a large window that showed the beautiful veiw of Arkansas. "Wow." I said looking all around the room. "I opened the door that was right beside the bed and saw that it was the large, modern bathroom. I walked in and saw the toilet on the same wall that the two sinks were on. On the other side of the bathroom, there was a stand up shower that has a clear glass door. The shower head has different modes on it so you can change it to your own liking. Beside the shower, there is a large jucuzzi bath that I know Emmie would like. I walked back into the main room and saw Em jumping up and down on the bed. "This room is pweety." She said landing on her butt on the bed. "I know, its really nice isn't it." I said pushing the lose strands of her hair back behind her ears. She nodded her head rapidly as she got back up and jumped back on the bed. I turned around and saw that Louis was still here holding our suitcases in both of his hands. "Thank you Louis." I said taking our bags and putting it next to the bed. "No problem." He said giving me a small smile. "Well we better get to bed, we have to wake up early." I said looking at Emmie. "I understand." He said smiling and walking to the door. Louis opened the door but before he closed it he said a quick "See you later" then giving me a small smile before closing the door. What did he mean when he said see you later, he knows that I won't be going back to South Carolina. I ran Emmie a small bath, making sure I put bubbles in the tube like she asked me to. After Em was all clean and dressed in her night gown, we laid down in the bed and seconds later we were both alseep because of the long day we had both spent in the car.
