As I opened the locker, many thoughts raced through my mind. My curiosity to uncover the identity of Chan burned brightly. Lately, Jake had been utterly useless, failing to assist me in my progress. I wanted him to help me find Chan, but he hadn't lifted a finger.

A sudden thought struck me - jeongin, my childhood best friend. He used to be in a gang but now worked as a black hacker. Since we were close and the only ones who knew about it, he would undoubtedly help. I quickly retrieved his phone number and contacted him.

"Hey, i.n, babe," I teased as he picked up the phone.

"Y/n-shii, how many times do I have to tell you not to call me that?" he exclaimed from the other end.

"What can I do? You're so cute, baby," I playfully replied.

"Let's move on. You're not going to stop, huh? It's been so long. I've missed you, girl," he said with a soft voice. Why is he so cute? Despite that, I couldn't fathom how he could be a gangster.

"I've missed you too, Pookie," I answered, a beaming smile on my face.

"So, why don't we meet up?" he suggested.

"I was planning on that too. And I have something to talk to you about," I informed him.

"Alright, girly, but don't bring your dumb boyfriend with you," he said. They used to be best friends, but their friendship had dwindled into unresolved mysteries after college. Now, they despised each other.

After changing into some comfortable clothes, I made my way to the restaurant to meet my baby boy. I still remember how close we used to be. He was like a cute baby. Despite everyone being scared of him because of his attitude, I managed to befriend him. I figured we'd be besties until the end.

On my way there, I spotted a familiar face in the car beside mine. 'Chan,' I guessed. He was sitting in the backseat, engrossed in his phone. A smile adorned his face, and his dimples were visible. He looked like a piece of art, crafted by a divine being, while the other men seemed like mere products of a lab for training. Lost in awe of this god-like figure in real life, I didn't realize that the red light had turned green. The car horn behind me snapped me back to reality.

This man was undeniably attractive. How could someone like him be suspicious? I questioned myself. He would only be a criminal if being handsome was a crime.

With my mind still filled with these daydreams, I arrived at the restaurant where I was meeting i.n. I spotted him waving from afar and made my way to his seat, smiling widely. "Babi girl," he greeted, hugging me as if I were his long-lost sister. I embraced him back, filled with warmth.

"Why are you late?" he asked.

"Sorry, there was a traffic jam," I replied, wearing a remorseful expression.

"I forgive you," he responded, a big smile on his face. "But let's not forget why you were looking for me," he added, his face showing confusion.

"It's just that I want you to find someone for me," I replied, opening my phone and showing him a photo of Chan. I could see his face turning red. Why was he angry? Frustration gleamed in his eyes as he glared at me.
