Ryujin is a young child who is rarely allowed to venture outside without her nanny.

Ryujin was in a kids’ garden, innocently playing on a swing. Little does she know that the swing is on the verge of collapsing.

Y/N pov

I was walking in the kids garden and notices an imminent danger. Driven by my  instinct to protect others, I   rushes to the swing and manages to save a little girl from harm.
Unaware of the child’s identity, I   scolds the nanny for not taking better care of the little girl. Just as the situation begins to settle, I  receives an unexpected phone call from my  boyfriend, Jake, and is compelled to leave.

I make my way to our apartment thinking he will be there , tho he did tell me where to to meet.

When I enter home there was nobody inside " god is it hard for him to tell where he is ?" I was so freaking annoyed. I should have ask too. Dummy I scold myself.
      ....

As I made my way down the stairs of my apartment, I couldn’t help but notice a faint sound of footsteps following closely behind me. A sense of unease began to creep over me as the footsteps continued to draw nearer. My heart started to race, and my mind filled with thoughts of potential danger.

Just as I was about to turn around and confront the person behind me, a sudden click echoed through the air. The sound of a gun being cocked sent shivers down my spine, intensifying my fear. I hesitated, unsure of what to do next.

Before I could react, a strong hand grabbed hold of me, preventing me from seeing the face of the person who had been following me. Panic surged through my veins as I was lifted onto their shoulder, and they swiftly carried me towards the exit.
As we rushed towards the door, my eyes met the gaze of the person who had taken me. In that moment, I was captivated by the most beautiful eyes I had ever seen. They seemed strangely familiar, as if I had encountered them before.

As I stepped out of the apartment, I finally got a clear view of his face. “Chan,” I whispered to myself. He took a deep breath and turned towards me, a big smile lighting up his face. “Oh, you’re the girl I saw this morning,” he said to me. I was taken aback, unsure of what was happening. I simply stared into his eyes.

“Hi, my name is Chan,” he introduced himself, extending his hand for a shake. I looked at him, still trying to process everything that had just happened. “What the hell is going on? Who is this guy and why is he following me?” I asked, my voice trembling slightly. He left his hand hanging in the air, gently rubbing his fingers through my hair. “Don’t worry, they’re after me,” he reassured me. Confusion washed over me even more. “After you? And why on earth was he trying to shoot me?” I questioned, my voice filled with frustration.
“He just thought you overheard our conversation. I promise, I’ll make sure this doesn’t happen again,” he vowed. I couldn’t let him off the hook so easily. “As you should,” I replied curtly, brushing past him and completely ignoring his presence.

....
