CHAPTER 21

ARYA'S POV--

I woke up in the morning and surprisingly I didn't get any nightmares last night, after a long time I had a peaceful sleep. I got freshen up and came out of the room. I saw Arjun's room door was closed so I thought maybe he is still sleeping so I started descending the stairs and was coming towards the kitchen to prepare some breakfast for us but I stopped at the entrance of the kitchen.

Arjun was making breakfast and he was shirtless, his focus was all on the food and mine was on him. His almond shaped light brown eyes, sharp nose, chiseled jawline with neatly trimmed beard, his abs were so well defined. 'Obviously that's the result of going to the gym daily' my mind mocked me.

I was thinking about all this when I heard his voice "You're enjoying what you see. Aren't you?" I came out of my thoughts and looked at him he was looking at me with a smirk I also smiled and went towards him and said "of course it's such an amazing view to see." He grabbed me by my waist and made me sit on the kitchen counter, gave me a peck on the lips and said "good morning." "It's a great morning." I replied smilingly.

"we have to leave for Mussoorie in an hour" I told him to which he said "let's have some breakfast first then we will leave." I nodded and we came to the dining table he made me a plate and we were eating and talking it was a really happy environment we finished our breakfast and we were going to leave for Mussoorie when Arjun's phone rang it was his mom's call he picked up her call smilingly but his smile dropped in less than a minute.

ARJUN'S POV--

It was mom's call I picked it up smilingly but as soon as I heard what she said my smile dropped I froze for a minute everything went blank Aradhya asked me what happened and I just replied "dad....dad had...dad had an accident." "What? how is he? He is fine right?"
These were her questions

I looked at her and said "he is in the hospital the situation is critical, I have to go Aradhya." "Yeah obviously you have to in fact I am also coming with you and don't worry okay nothing will happen to him. Let's do one thing we'll directly go to the airport." I nodded and said "I'll call for my private jet"

AUTHOR'S POV--

Arjun and Arya left from there and directly reached at the airport Arya had informed Veer about the situation Veer also wanted to come but Arya denied him saying that she'll update him time to time. They boarded the jet and in some time they reached Delhi. During the whole ride Arya was calming Arjun. Arjun's driver was already waiting for him outside the airport. They both sat in the car and left for the hospital.

When they reach Arjun saw her mother in a vulnerable condition Arya calmed him down and said "control yourself Arjun you have to be strong for aunty you have to take care of her. You will right?" Arjun nodded and went towards her mother and his mom hugged him and she was crying badly.

Arya completed all the formalities and Arjun was consoling his mom. Mihir Arjun's younger brother also came to the hospital and he was also crying. The doctor came out in some time and Arjun asked him about his dad's health the doctor said "it's critical because if the patient did not get conscious in 24 hours then he could slip into coma."

It's been 8 hours and there was no good news about Arjun's dad. It was tough for Arjun too to be so strong because he was really close to his dad and he can't even cry for his dad because he have to console his family. Arjun tried to convince his mother to go home and take some rest but she was not ready to leave from there. Arya understood this and she came towards his family.

Arjun's mom and Mihir were sitting on the chairs and Arjun was standing beside hospital room and was watching Arya to understand what she wants to do. Arya went to Arjun's mom sat beside her and hugged her. Everybody was silent even Arjun's mom was crying silently, after sometime Arya broke the hug and wiped off the tears from his mom's face. Arjun's mom was looking down on the floor so Arya stood up and sat on her knees in front of her.
