CHAPTER - 17

AUTHOR'S POV --

Arya - "MY PARENTS DIED ON THIS FUCKING DAY"

Everyone was quiet and Arya was breathing heavily because of her anger.

Arya - "They left me on this day, I saw them dying in front of me."

Veer - (came towards Arya, held her hand and said) "Arya I am sorry I never wanted to hurt you I thought it might lighten up your mood I don't want you to remember all that I AM SORRY." he said holding Arya's hands.

Arya - "Remember? You remember those things which you forget and I can never forget that....in fact nobody lets me " she said sadly

Arjun - "Aradhya I am sorry I didn't knew..." 

Arya - "It's okay Mr. Jindal I know that and I am sorry too guys I behaved a little irrationally It's just I....." she said blankly without showing any emotions.

Veer - "No no Arya you don't have to be sorry It was our mistake, we are sorry"

Arya shook her head and said "its okay I just need some time I'll not be here tonight bye everyone."

Arya left from there and nobody tried to stop her because they knew she needs some time.

Arjun asked Veer that where is she going to which he said "I don't know in fact nobody knows where she goes she never tells and then we also stopped asking but yeah whenever she is upset she leaves and then comes the next morning."

Listening to this Arjun was curious so he went behind her he saw her going in the car and he started following her on a bike.

Arya stopped the car and she went inside, Arjun saw it was a race course for car racing Arjun thought Arya hadn't seen her so he went inside he tried to find Arya but wasn't able to find her. He turned to go somewhere else when he got startled.

Arya was standing in front of her with her hands crossed on her chest. She raised her eyebrow and Arjun repeated the same action. "what are you doing here?" Arya asked "what am I doing here?" Arjun asked her "you should tell me that." Arya replied. Arjun smiled sheepishly and said "I....I was here to see you" "why?" she asked. "I was curious to know where you go." he replied

Arya - "how does it matter to you?"

Arjun - "I don't know why but it does and I can't do anything about it in fact I don't want to do anything about it."

Arya shook her head and asked him "wanna have a race?"

Arjun - "right now?" Arya nodded and Arjun said "ok no problem."

Arya was a little surprised she thought he will deny the offer. Then she smirked and said "let's go then".

They both went to their respective cars and sat in it. They gave each other a look and started the race. Both were driving rashly, Arjun was giving a good competition to Arya. She didn't expected him to be this good at racing. When the race got finished Arya won it by few seconds and she was proudly smiling at Arjun. Arjun was happy seeing her smiling. He came towards her and asked "so now, let's go back." To which Arya's smile dropped and she said to him "you should go I'm not coming home tonight."

"Where will you go then?" He asked

"In hell, will you come with me there too?" She asked him

Arjun - "Yes, if it's about you, I will" 

Arya - "Why are you so stubborn just leave me alone for some time." She asked irritatingly.

Arjun - "I don't know but I don't feel like leaving you alone at this time." 

Arya - "If you are worrying about my safety then don't worry I know how to handle everything."

Arjun - "I am not worrying about your safety I know that you know how to fight I saw that. I just.... honestly......I don't know. I don't know why am I behaving like this but I just can't leave you alone."

Arya sighed and said "fine then come with me." Arjun nodded and smiled. Arya shook her head and sat in the car, Arjun quickly came on the passenger seat and sat there thinking that she'll change her mind.

While starting the car she said to him "don't worry I won't change my mind if I've made a decision once." To which he smiled sheepishly and asked "how did you know I was thinking that only?"

Arya - "I just knew also you wanted to know me right? So let's go I'll tell you about myself today."

Arjun - "what do you mean? Where are we going?"

Arya - "You wanted to know about Aradhya right? I'll tell her story and we are going to Dehradun."

Arjun - "why Dehradun?"

Arya - "because I belong from there. And now no more question you'll get the answer once we reach there."

Arjun nodded and after that they were talking about random things also when they both were silent it was comforting. In an hour they reached Dehradun and Arya stopped the car outside a villa and she went inside it Arjun followed her she knocked on the door and an old man opened the door he asked "Aradhya how come you are here?" Arya smiled at him and said "namastey kaka how are you?" "I'm fine how are you my child?" he said "I'm fine too kaka I'm going to stay here tonight." Arya said. That man nodded and said "of course get in it's your house only. Will you have something to eat?" "No kaka don't worry I'm not hungry you go and sleep." Arya replied. That man looked at Arjun and smiled and said to Arya "I'm going in the out house if you need something you can call me okay" Arya nodded and he left from there.

Arjun - "who was he?"

Arya - "he is the caretaker of this house."

Arjun - "And whose house is this?"

Arya - "Mine"

Arya held his hand and took him in front of a wall, there were many pictures of a family a girl, a man and a woman.

Arjun - "who are they?"

Arya - "my family, my parents."

Arjun - "is this you?" (He asked pointing towards a girl around 14-15 years old.)
Arya nodded.

Arya pointed towards the man in the photo frame and said "he is my dad Dev Singh Rathore."
'why does this name sound so familiar?' Arjun thought.
Then Arya pointed towards the woman and said "and she is my mom Shivani Dev Singh Rathore." She was smiling sadly remembering her parents. She said in her mind 'I miss you mom & dad.'

And Arjun said shockingly "you are Dev uncle and Shivani aunty's daughter?"

AUTHOR'S NOTE ---

DOES ARJUN KNOW ARYA'S MOM? WHAT WAS HIS RELATIONSHIP WITH HER MOM? AND I SO LOVE WHEN ARJUN IS WITH ARYA, HE IS SO CUTE. I THINK I NEED ARJUN IN MY LIFE BUT I KNOW HE IS FICTIONAL ITS OKAY HE IS MY BABY ONLY, DOESN'T MATTER. ANYWAYS I'LL SEE YOU GUYS IN THE NEXT CHAPTER WITH THE FLASHBACK... LET'S GET TO KNOW ABOUT ARYA'S PAST TOGETHER.
