My name is Uthman. The king of dragons, and protector of the fire lands, a proud father of 3 amazing children, and married to the love of my life, Meredith blitzmeyer, or Meredith Boldheart now.

She was known for her alchemy and her science. She was one of the smartest dragons to ever exist. Having her as my wife is the greatest blessing I could ever have.

And there was a time not very long ago. When we lived in an enchanted world of elegant places and grand parties. We were celebrating the 5th birthday of my eldest child. Who was the star of the show!

I was late and had just sat down when I saw my wife and children dancing.

"Hello darling!" I said waving to my family. And that night no star burned Brighter than that of our sweet Ballister. My eldest child.

My eldest begged me not to return to the palace where I had to stay for most of the year as the king. So I had a very special gift made for all of my children to make the separation easier for all of us. I gave my eldest a small box with a bow on top.

"For me? Is it a necklace?" Ballister asked. I opened it for my child to show him a broach shaped like a shield that could change in different lighting. I gave one to each of my children.

"This broach is a way for us to remember how much we all love each other and is one of a kind." I explained.

"Look behind the broach my children." I said. Ballister looked closer behind the broach and saw the ingraving.

"Together for good now." He read. That's right. They were going to live in the palace with me so we would stay together forever.

"Really!? Papa!!" Ballister yelled hugging me.
"I have one other gift for you Ballister." I said. I grabbed a box next to me and placed it on my lap.

The top started moving and a little black and red puppy popped it's head out. It jumped onto Ballister and knocked him to the floor. It started licking my child's face and cuddling with my child.

"She's yours." I said. "Really!?" Ballister asked petting her. "Yes. Now what do you want to name her?" I asked. "Izzy!" Ballister said.

"Then, Izzy it is." I told Ballister. However I didn't know that would be the last time I saw my child.

The entrance doors swung open and a strange man walked in. He had a dark aura. I could tell that we were all in danger.

He was pale skinned with hair almost as white as snow, in a white and gold suit. He had some sort silk mask over his head.

"Who are you and why are you here!?" I asked, showing my wings. "My name is Amon you highness." He said. He pulled out some sort of staff that was glowing green and waved it in the air.

"I am for the kingdom of gloreth and am here to kill all monsters of the world. STARTING WITH YOUR PEOPLE AND YOUR FAMILY! I WILL NOT REST UNTIL I SEE THE END OF ALL MONSTERS FOREVER!!" He yelled.

suddenly the staff opened and a green Lazer flew out hitting the chandelier making it fall to the floor. The man disappeared and we thought we were safe.

However soon many men with swords came in through the windows. Soon it became a massacre. "Meredith get the children out of here!" I yelled.

Meredith pov:

"Kids, hurry!" I yelled. I had my daughter and son in my arm and my oldest holding my hand. I was trying to focus on getting to a portal that would take us to the palace but everyone was running and yelling. It was chaos and I couldn't think.

Suddenly I felt Ballister let go of my hand and I turned around. "Izzy!!" Ballister yelled. "Ballister!!" I yelled. I handed my kids to my lady-in-waiting so I could run after Ballister.

"Ballister, come back! Come back!" I yelled pushing my way through the crowd. I saw my child run to the bedroom before I shut the door behind us.

"Ballister! We have to go!" I yelled. I heard screaming and knew we had to go.

I grabbed Ballister and Izzy then used a secret back entrance to get to the portal room. The rest of the kids were there and my lady's-in-waiting just opened the portal.

I put Ballister and Izzy down and put the coordinates in to send the kids home. Suddenly I heard the door fall and the man with the staff ran in.

"Ballister run!!" I yelled. I saw my child run into the portal and thought my baby was safe but the Lazer hit the controls and the portal blew up knocking me to the floor. That was what I could remember before I passed out.

Uthman pov:

We were able to win the battle that day but we lost the heir to the throne. We lost my child. The portal sent my child to an unknown location and we never saw my baby again.

Deep down I hope that Ballister is alive and happy.
