Yes! We are so back!

Now, back to the story.

Mississippi's POV:

2:15 PM

Eagle Union Dorm Hallway, 1st Floor:

The hallway had a blue pearl finish to it with wooden floorboards being tapped on with Mississippi's feet as he looked at the wood-matched doorframes surrounding the room's doors.

Mississippi was also periodically checking a clipboard that had a 2D map of the dorms and what was occupied while looking at the door placards he passed to double-check.

"Wonder why the submarines are stuck on this floor."

Before stopping at an unclaimed placard at the end of the hall.

He checked the clipboard to confirm that this room was, in fact, where it was and not occupied.

Checked out.

"Wonder why no one has this room?"

He tried opening the door, but the knob was stuck.

"What the-"

He checked to see if there was a deadbolt, but there wasn't.

"Time to try something stupid."

Mississippi took a step back, dropped the clipboard on the ground, and kicked the door. Causing the knob to make a snapping noise.

"Let's see if that worked."

He picked up the clipboard and twisted the knob again to a click noise before it opened.

All he could see, from the doorway, was the dimed light coming from a small, curtain-closed, window. Mississippi went over to the window and pushed the curtain off the window to let more light into the room.

When he did that, he turned around to look at what the room had.

(Facing the doorway; window behind his back)

The walls were painted with a blue pearl with white painted on the window ceil, frame, and inner doorframe.

Tucked in the left corner of the now much longer room, stood a bed facing the doorway, a wooden dresser that matched the bedframe's wooden texture, holding 4 drawers and 2 smaller ones on the top while standing adjacent to the bed as it's, although taller than normal, nightstand. A pearl blue rectangular rug covered the floor from the end of the bed frame to the end of the right side of the dresser.

Whatever kind of wood you wanna think would fit.

To the right of the bed's front board, parallel to the wall behind it, stands a wooden wardrobe in the same wooden texture as the other two. Past that was a washing machine and Dryer before leaving a moderate gap between that and the doorway.

On the right side, stood 4 bookshelves, lined up from the right corner to the middle of the room's length, the shelves had books spread out among the four before a wooden desk, adjacent to the bookshelves, that had papers and files littering the desktop. A couple of drawers surrounded the middle gap for the chair.

After the desk was just empty space that reached to the other side.

"A lot of space for myself."

But, he scratched his head,

"Wonder why nobody took it."

Before shrugging to himself and bringing his arm down.

"Ehh, what could happen, somebody is gonna haunt me in my sleep?"
