Synopsis

In outer banks, you were either two things, a kook or a pogue, yet Summer Routeledge had always been about bending those rules, where even when her father was around she would work on doing well in school, try to wear the best clothes to fit in, even joined the diving team and surf club.

And even when he disappeared supposedly drowning in the ocean, none of that changed, if anything it only escalated, where she found herself hanging out with Sarah Cameron in the mornings, being invited to some kook parties, even Kiara and Popes parents like her and they all didn't really like any of them.

But they adored Summer, where Kiaras parents had even invited her and bought her a dress to tag along with them to midsummer which Kiara enjoyed until she stopped being friends with Sarah where it became more of a who was gonna get to hang out with her and who wouldn't.

Although somedays John B would get her out of her pretend life especially when he would see how much his sister enjoyed CPS, wanting to even become one of them and help kids like themselves, he realized she needed a shock of reality.

Yet what he didn't know at the time was his little shock of reality to show her a good time as a pogue would end up, bringing her on this insane treasure hunt and potentially ruin everything she had worked for.

Where thankfully she had her equally level headed friend Pope by her side who also happens to be putting everything on the line, although the two tend to butt heads on who's grades are better or who's life goals matter more, where the other three would just like to disown the rule of no pogue on pogue macking and tell the two of them to just kiss already.
