At the opposite end
Atop unfulfilled expectations
Across a lost chance
Lies a little bundle of her
Beautiful and charming
But undecided and "choiceless"Now in her evenings
Buren and cursed
With a heap of excuses
Immersed in ocean of DenialThe perfect match for her

Ending in fields of swords
Slicing his naive heart
He left once & forever
Back in their 20s
Never rolling his eyes back
Nor his ears to trap any soundThere he stands
On the other end
Relaxing from the sand
And finding joy in her absence
