Come on my beautiful love,
How dare you leave me unkissed?
It was a dream anyway...We walked together from the campus gate, sloping downwards to your room.
It was in a twilight but the day hurried, skipping some early hours of the night and diving into the deepest darkness of midnight before we reached your room. A blanket of quietness covered us at the junction to the university library. We were only two, me and You. The night was getting scary before the moonlight escaped through the clouds, landing on your white that communicated hope.
The night became more calm but we stopped moving as though our feet were nailed to Earth. We held each other by hand, with my left hand fingers cross-matched with your right. We felt a sense of security and belonging, there alone together in the dark.
The night became too silent, I could clearly hear and count your heartbeats. I counted 103 in less than a minute. Then we turned our bodies to face each other. I looked into your eyes and saw a fuzzy image of mine with a moon in the rare. I pulled you closer and you effortlessly fell into my chest, stabbing me with your sharp pointed tips on your chest apples.
I located your lips, just below mine. Your smile widened, exposing your white teeth which communicated untold love. You then got on your toe tips, with your sweet lips aiming at mine and with your eyes fixed with innocence on mine, as if intending to bite my lips but you didn't. You pulled my ear and whispered to me something I couldn't hear.
I hate myself for having started such a dream I didn't finish. I didn't wish it would end, but it had to.I wish you were near me
And perhaps finish this dream.
